This is the first thread I started following when I found the geocoin forum. I still hold out hope for one of these great coins as is I was SO fascinated with it, the forum, and the generous spirit of the mystery givers. Still loving this coin!

I like you am pretty new to missions, and had some problems finding coins I thought that my mission person would like from my small collection. I have gone to eBay and picked up coins that I know someone was looking for, but I think that most people don't really care. Esp if they know that its comming from a newbie I have got coins I LOVE & coins I use as future traders in the few missions we have done, so you can also look at it that way. I think the biggest thing is to meet the mission requirement & get it in the mail!

Isn't it funny how life can get in the way of us doing the things we want to Kids fur or not, work, family commitments, and just keeping up with stuff around the house can really cut into our free time or time that we use to do things we want to, like caching and coin making. With having a sick baby in the hospital a few weeks ago, working 50+ hrs a week and trying to keep the laundry done and the floors half-way swept I feel like I have not free time what so ever! I can't lie and say I am patiently waiting for my invoice, I check my email 4 or 5 times a day, but I totally understand how busy we can all get. Thanks for the update.

I received one of these great coins this week, however my mom took one look at it and STOLE it!!! That's OK tho, since I have the greatest mom in the world, I think letting her have a few of my coins that she really likes is the least I can do. I loved the great detailing of the Mickey heads in the background. It will have a special place in her small collection of coins. Thank you so much Mystery sender!

Diver Mickey came today!!!! The detail of the little Mickey heads in the coin is amazing. I loved it, notice I say I loved it, my Mom stole it! She has fallen in love with a few of my coins and I have shared them with her, the pink Yime and a few of my witch Halloween coins and now my Mickey...O well guess she can have them after all she is the greatest mom and grandma in the world!!

Got my first coins in from the 2 from the coin of the month clubs I joined last month, & 2 compass rose coins from the e-place. I also reserved a few coins this week I can't wait to get them! ...My name is Tonya, & I have a coin addiction.

I think the only way I might qualify for this cointest is that I have only been in the forums about 6 months, but it doesn't really matter. I love to know more about the people I talk with all the time, rather than just an avatar. Some people I am not even sure if they are male or female . My name is Tonya (pretty obvious), I am a Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist- in other words I help doctors take xrays of your vessels. My son Indiana Anthony 8 and the geobaby Alex 14months (there's an idea, a cointest to give the geobaby a geoname) go caching with me here in Central Arkansas. We found our first coin late last summer as a FTF gift and now are totally addicted. I love Halloween coins and coins with great knot work or cool designs, like the compass rose coins. My son Anthony likes pirate, Mario, Indiana Jones coins and what ever else seems to catch his eye. He is really wanting the Warrior coin and a Lego coin but don't know about any Lego coins. Together we have about 50 coins, and have just joined both of the coin of the month clubs- told you we where addicted. However more then anything I love the people in this forum, all the great people that send out mystery coins, the people that help track down a wanted coin, or just help with info. I am also so impressed with the caring nature of people here, such as when RiverCacher was sick. I hope that other people that like me really don't meet the "new forum members" rule will still take the time to introduce themselves.

Ok since you haven't seen the samples yet, I'm going to go ahead and get on into May and say May 2th and $38.67. I hope no one else has chosen that day yet. And again Thanks for all the snow Kini_ont!!! 7 inches last week, too much for central Arkansas. Thank goodness I had my cute Canadian hat and mittens.

We expecting 11 inches here in central Arkansas Wed!?!?!?!? This is so not right. I would expect it for Kini_ont, but not for this little Southern Girl. Hope that all this crazy winter weather doesn't delay any of the replacement missions.

1. Indiana Anthony and I found our first geocoin at a new cache in Mills park in Bryant AR. It was a Scout cache and we found a really cool looking Scouting coin. I didn't know anything coin or what we had found, but seeing that it was trackable on geocaching.com we took it to move. Come to find out it was a FTF gift (we were second but hey) 2. First coin to buy was a radiation coin from Rivercacher. I am an xray tech and really liked the look of the coin. This led to a few very nice email exchanges with him, and a great introduction to geocoins. 3. We haven't officially made our first coin, but it is in the works with Jackelgirl and the doubloon project. I am super excited about it!! 4. My first trade was with Rivercacher as well. I had bought a few grab bags off ebay and was wanting something different that would mean more to me. That was about 1 month after we found our first. I then traded with DrNeal how was as always a sweetie and sent a few little extras and I knew this was something I wanted to be part of. Everyone was so nice and willing to help out a newbie! 5. I found the forums after finding our first coin. I was looking for more info on what I had found. I really liked the coin we found and was interested to see what other coins where being made...now I'm addicted!

Keep the snow in Canada kini_ont! But yes the hat & mittens have come in handy. Got out this morning before the snow started and got to the post office. Sould take a week to a week & a half to get to the Netherlands. Keeping my fingers crossed that it makes it this time!

Had a minor set back and geobaby ended up back in the hospital but is out and doing better now so a trip to the post office to mail Millie's replacement mission is on our list for tomorrow as well as restocking the frig and getting ready for more snow. Doesn't mother nature know this is the south and we don't like snow!!!

I have seen many post about the tranquility coin, but had never seen one. Wow what a pretty coin, but dang at the price! Don't think I could pay that for one coin, but they are very very pretty.

Geobaby should be getting out of the hospital today. It is amazing what some iv fluids can do for a little guy when a stomach bugs wipes him out! I should be able to get to the post office no later then tomorrow.
