To set my baseline of understanding:
I consider it ok to log an earth cache/virtual, if i have been there, can produce an adequate photo (if required), AND answer all questions satisfactorily OR the owner approves nonetheless (e.g. because the GPSr is not in the picture). I like it as a means of keeping track where I was.
So now what happened. Some EC owner has appealed to GS to delete my EC/ virtual logs of places, I actually have been to, which I bulk logged at the day I answered them - i.e. even after clarifying she thought that I am WAY off. I log with the date I answer the EC/ virtual questions, not with the date I have been there (it would screw up my history of logs and milestones). So as it happened, I logged caches in Hungary, Ireland, Spain, and Turkey on the same day to finish off a series of weekend trips I did earlier - I could have spread them artificially but I figured that that's useless. Now GS contacted me to look at the guideline (which do not state anything about this specific problem) and delete accordingly. I answered truthfully that I have been there, got the ok from the owners and bulk logged them together. Let's see what they reply. Then we got our answer.
