  1. I am running it on a Nokia Lumina 920. Just converted from an iPhone (now belongs to the wife) Shame the app doesn't take advantage of the gyro hardware, and rotate the map like the ios version, but apart from that it's good. I still have the original WP7 app on my phone, as well as the newer "Geocaching Live" app for WP7 (they put out a new app, rather than an update), and you are correct, the map doesn't rotate on either one. Not that I ever even knew it rotated on Iphone. There was a little icon in the bottom left I think it was, which when click orientated the map to where you were facing. Fantastic little option which I sorely miss. I have had my 920 for 2 weeks yet, but thus far the weather has not been up to caching. Hopefully tomorrow

  3. Just downloaded it. the one thing I was hoping for is missing still. Rotating maps!!! Compass is better though. Going to take up my trial membership tonight
  4. Just to add my 2p (or 2c) worth $10 is not a lot. I have bought the app for my wifes iPhone, and for my WP7 (Lumia 800). Both apps are fine as a casual user. I hope the new app has a rotational map as it is the only thing I miss. If the new app is as good as you say, $30 is not a lot either for a Premium Membership. I will be happy to pay $30 to subscribe to the content. Maybe I am too laid back about such trivial things. There are more important things in life. I am happy to see my kids faces when they find a cache, and one of those faces is worth a years subscription! BTW, do we have an official release date for the new app yet? I am looking forward to it, but my tea is more important at the moment
  5. Hi I too have a Lumia 800 having upgraded from an iPhone 4s. Is there any estimate on a release date for the mango update?
  6. Just done my first find with the WP7 after previously using the iPhone 4s. App is much better on the WP7 except for the rotate map, which I really miss. Please put this feature in. Downloaded SkyMap for WP7 and it has this type of functionality, knowing where I am facing with the map of the sky and updates smoothly, just like the iPhone.
