Although Micro's can drive me to drink heavily after finding one, the Railroad series Micor's over here has be pretty proud of the find, out of tons of people that have searched for it, only 2 people actually found it!!! someone else and myself. dang, i call that a awesome acomplishment............. but everyone likes the game for different reasons..................

I look at it this way, i will compare geocaching to the X-box 360. X-Box 360, about 300 dollars to get a good one Geocaching, about 300 dollars for a good unit ------------------ now here is where it all ends FAST! games for 360=60 dollars a pop, .....let's face it you will get bored on one game fast, so it can add up( i personally own over 20K in games ) X-Box Live Membership ( Gold) 50 dollars a year (I have 4 one for me, my 2 sons and my wife) Geocaching/Groundspeak Premimum membership= 30 dollars.............. HMMMMMMMM, seems like we are getting a awesome deal for our money here, NO????? Last time i checked, servers, HVAC controls for those servers, renting space to house the servers, and the bills, electricty, ETC do not come cheap at all............... NOW finally add in the staff, WE are luckly to be paying $30.00 dollars a year to such a awesome web experience, friend making game, and for something that is a absolute Blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I hate evilbay as well........... i got the Delorme PN-40 Bundle for 300 at REI, and i must say, i love the accuracy, in the rain, under deep clouds, and deep foliage, it still stays between 3 to 6 feet accuracy.........most impressed for the buck, the one i got had the topo 8, memory card (2G) and other DeLorme disks included.............. just my 2 cents worth

Our Very First GPS is the the DeLorme Earthmate PN-40. I love it, was swayed by a friend who uses it for search and rescues all the time, love the unit, my only Gripe is battery life, but hey i can live with it............... My kids love going out and so do I. I also own 3 Garmin StreePilot C330's and now upgrading them to Nuvi 500's for the wife and I. I am A truck Driver and she drives a School Bus, and we swear by them .......................

I love my PN-40, and now with all of these new toys, i am sure to be having even more fun.............. the firmware itself is a Meh point to me, if it is not broken, why fix it ?????

now i am jeolus, wish i lived in California, would love the find that Cache.................... so what are now, high tech pirates, looking for bounty...................
