SeabeckTribe #2 (sent from Portugal to US, mailed Dec 1)On my USPS notifications, I have seen an unknown package (hopefully my Mission) sitting in Compton, CA since Jan 14th. The package had a DHL tracking number, but today it has disappeared from my tracking page. I am hoping that it is on the move via DHL which will drop it off at the local Post Office to complete the delivery. I kick my self for not writing the number down so I could track it via DHL page. Fingers crossed it will show up in my package notifications again once it has arrived at my Post Office. Maybe early next week (fingers, toes, what ever else I can cross).

I wanted to give heads up for those coming down John Prairie Road to Hwy 3 from #6 to #7. This is weird intersection with limited eye sight to see traffic coming from Shelton (heading north) especially if you don't get the right angle unless you have a super good passenger watching out for you.

Travis and his helper have done a wonderful job putting together these Cache Machines. I remember doing our first Bremerton II Cache Machine July 2005. I have LOVED doing them since then. Keep up the great job and looking forward to doing this one and many more to come.

Hi, I am the merit badge counselor who contacted Rhonda G. If anyone else would like my Powerpoint slides for Geocaching merit badge contact me and I will be glad to send them to you too.
I am wondering I could possible get a copy of that powerpoint. I am doing a Merit Badge clinic in December on Geocaching. I am struggling understanding the concept. Seabecktribe is planning to go. See about getting the Friday before off otherwise long night driving after work.
May have a hook up for sleeping (camping) in Winthrop area. If it works out and more availablility, I'll post more info. Have to wait for person to come back from camping.

The pre-event dinner is confirmed: Friday, June 24, at 6:00 p.m. at Brick House Pizza, 6744 NE Sandy Blvd, N 45.546486°, W 122.593440°. It's a pizza and salad buffet -- they're closing down the restaurant for us, on the condition that anyone who enters, pays. (They've gotten burned by non-eating buffet visitors recently.)Any changes that occur after the final draft is posted on June 20 will be announced there (and in this forum).
Just called the place, it is $10 per person. All you can eat pizza, salad and cheesy bread. Drinks not included.
