  3. Always... Always... Check your incoming coin packaged envelops before you leave the Post Office! I just received a package that was suppose to have 9 coins in it. The sender did insure it but until the Post Office completes their investigation I am out the $$$$ (this was not a trade). But to make matters worst I might be out for the whole thing. I have been getting quite a few trades and sales. Not paying attention I just grabbed the arm load of mail, padded envelopes and all and then put them in a bag when I got in the car. When I got home and started openning the mail I notice that this padded envelope had been sliced at one end. Thinking it was an old one that I grabbed that had been laying around on my desk. I started looking around the desk, on the floor and in the bag. I realized that this was the envelope because it had the insured sticker. I once again started going through all the mess on my desk, went out to the car to look but nothing. I then jumped back into the car and drove back to the PO. I had wondered at the time when I got the envelope why someone would insure A coin. This package was defiantly on the light side. But I was gabbing with the clerk and paying no attention. (A bad trait of mine... I talk to much. I hope this teaches me a lesson to keep my mouth shut!) Today the Post Master said the clerk told him that when he picked up the package he notice SOME weight to it. (Yea... Like 9 coins!) And that he dropped it on the floor. Now wouldn't it have brought a little more attention than just a padded envelope? And shouldn't he have noticed how it sounded? Specially on a hard floor. I packaged up 9 coins and dropped it from standing height onto my floor, which has a low, tight weave carpet. It make a thud and a slight clinking noise. I guess I am just venting... Sorry. But I will never... ever... leave the post office without checking those envelope first! I will also insure any thing I mail if it has two or more coins from now on. Lummieh
  4. Nice looking... I'll be watching for these. Lummieh
  5. Love to trade with you. Email on its way. Lummieh
  6. I remember reading something about a problem with tracking number. Does this include the STOP geocoin? The two I purchased have the same tracking numbers. Or is this the way they are suppose to be? Lummieh
  7. Allie... You have been a sweetie. I want to THANK YOU for all the work you put into this project. Hope you have a great Valentine Day. Lummieh
  8. it's in my sig line If we get the v1.4 now. Will there be an upgrade for the v1.5?
  9. I wanted to let all those that have trades coming from me and had promised to mail them today. But I was unable to make it to the PO. I had a day full of clients that JUST had to have their taxes done today. I am locking my doors tomorrow so I can get to the PO. Lummieh
  10. That is the only place you can find them. I have emailed them a couple times and they were not interested in trading with me and said they were only selling on eBay. Bummer! That would have really fit in with our Tribe theme. But it isn't that nessesary to us to pay the E-place price. Maybe some one would like to trade me for one? I have a couple special coins not listed on my trade list because I am taking them along to the local event, Coinapaloosa, this next weekend. Lummieh
  11. Does anyone know who made this coin and where I might trade/buy one? Found it listed on the E-place as a geocoin.
  12. WE HAVE NICKELS!!! Looking for trades. Email me with subject line "Wooden Nickels" Haven't had a chance to scan them yet, but here is what the front and back will look like. Lummieh seabecktribe@msn.com Edited to add email address
  13. I would be interested in a trade.
  14. My daughter called on Jan 1, 2005 telling me about an article about geocaching she saw on TV. She thought this might interest Dad and I while we were out RVing and gave me the web address. After getting on the web site, I thought this geocaching thing was quite interesting. So I check out our zip code and was surprised to see sooooo many caches. I was so caught up on this game/treasure hunt that I wanted to signed all of us up. My daughter and family live only a few miles from us. As a family group, the word tribe came to mind. It was natural to add Seabeck. So be it.... The SeabeckTribe we became. We found our first cache on January 2, 2005. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Lummieh
  15. Here is the info for KevinG68: http://keving68.geocoin.net/ And here is the DNF info: http://dnf.geocoin.net/ Thank you so much. Lummieh
  16. My vote is for option #2. The thought for combining the locomotive and tender is a great idea, but the proportions of the cars look off. Personally.... If you go with option #2, the three car set. You might as well go all the way with a 4 car set that includes a vintage caboose. But that is only my opinion! You are making me a train lover! Lummieh
  17. I did get an email awhile back about the earthcache meeting the guidelines. But never recieved any adoption request. Thanks for the link. The person that reviewed it in Oct 06 left a note on the page. I emailed him about why it was archived if it had meet the guidelines. I had to formate my hard drive and lost most of my files for this cache. Now at lest I have a link to it and maybe can retrieve the html info. Thanks to you all for your help. Lummien
  18. I just went into Earthcache.org and mine isn't listed.
  19. I didn't save the page to my favorites and it has been awhile. I think it was in Dec 05. Because I got ahold of the Park Manager this Dec 06 so I could renew my yearly permit. The name was "Dry Falls or Dry Falls Earthcache"
