  1. According to the nice people who answered the phone to me in their Cardiff store they hadn't received the correct information in their e-mail/letter. She told me the coins arrived in store this morning and I would have to find one hidden in a box so if I went to Geocaching.com and register etc etc.... I interupted and asked the obvious... How they going to get into the box? as it says on the website you can pick them up in store, and she said she'd phone head office and ring me back which she did and said Yes your right they are to be given out free. Jo
  2. Blacks in Cardiff had 18 in this morning all Big Ben types, and will be having more in when they run out. Just picked up mine along with Dans Gang and I know they have had a few more enquiries by the time I had arrived. No mention of Britain though, only England. Jo
  3. Hi, just came across this in an e-mail from walking world. Its a 10 day long festival of walks celebrating Saint Davids Day in and around Crickhowell. 6 new caches are going to be placed. Does anyone know when the event page will be up. Geocache Event Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March, Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th March Time:All dayDescription:Geocaching is an activity for those interested in navigating around the countryside, using a GPS or by map and compass and without a leader. Caches are hidden at various places and the Grid Reference and clues as to their whereabouts published on the internet at www.geocaching.com. The Geocache Event is complementary to the Walking Festival, you don’t need to take part in any of the organised walks to take part in the Geocache Event. Six new permanent traditional caches will be listed in the in the Crickhowell area in the run up to the Festival (complying with the caches listing requirements/guidelines on the Geocaching.com website). Go to www.geocaching.com to find the Grid References and clues (you will need to register first, if you have not already done so). Just in time for the weekends of 1/2 March and 8/9 March special tokens will be distributed to each cache for Geocachers to collect. On each weekend, whoever is first to collect a set of tokens and hand it in to Headquarters (CRiC, SO218183) will receive a prize of Geocaching goodies. An area will also be set aside where Geocachers can meet and chat about Geocaching and exchange Travel Bugs etc.
  4. I have a multi cache, but due to a new by-pass being built one of the stages is unaccesible. Can I change it to a traditional cache and if I can how do i do it? Jo
