  1. I use an application called Smache by Cyancanyon (www.cyancanyon.com)I've never heard from anyone else who uses it and it is not listed on the geocaching .com website. However I think its great and it does exactly what I want it to do. It runs well on WM5. What's more its free. Try it!
  2. Big brother, Red tape, call it what you like but it’s the same old story. When enough people start doing something they enjoy, some tosspot will try to police it, tax it, or ban it. We’re at the beginning of the end folks. When it becomes more trouble than it is fun people just won’t bother.
  3. Sheets of A4, not for me thank you. Get yourself a PDA (doesn’t have to be an expensive one, try eBay) I find these apps useful. Documents To Go, for copying all the info. Geocache log book for logging your finds. Hintdecoder, does exactly what it says on the box. All These and other geocaching apps can be found here…….. http://palmgear.com/
  4. Had the same problem on Sunday night (17.04.05) it took ages just to log one cache. I think you are right, there is a lot of traffic at peak times and the server just can't handle it. I tried again the following morning (when all the yanks were in bed) and it was fine.
  5. The whole point of a headstone is that someone takes the time to read it every once in a while. What if when you are dead and buried nobody takes that time, how would you feel? (dead of course) If treated with respect I think there is no problem with looking for clues in a graveyard that will lead you to a cache. The cache itself however should be hidden somewhere else.
  6. Please….. We’ll be blaming polar bears next
