All I can say about heat and caching is that urban caches stink to do when its hot out! Last weekend I was with a group hitting up a lot of urban micros and the like and the second we stepped into a woods to find an ammo can it was at least 20 degrees cooler. Reminded us to stick to our "roots".

Hi All. Buffalo NY'er here thinking of coming down to Cleveland with a group of local cachers for the day for some Cleveland geocaching. From the looks of it, there are a decent amount with a wide variety of different caches. What are you experiences with geocaching there?

I'm happy to say that in my area there has been a tremendous growth of traveling geocoins in the past few months. Probably going to release a few of mine myself.

When I look at "latest caches hidden" under a state it is listing the most recent events.. anyone else having this problem?

Hi All. I recently was helping a "new-to-the-coin-game" caching friend activate her first coin. She couldn't activate it because she kept mis-reading the tracking number until eventually we found out the correct number. In trying to find the correct number, I replaced a number and a letter that easily look alike.. trying out different #s on the activation page. I didn't realize there was a problem until this morning when I saw in my inventory there was a "travel bug tag", I clicked on it and it was the coin that I was trying to find the activation code for! The thing is, I never clicked "Activate Travel Bug", just typed in the number in the Travel Bug # slot, not activation slot. Should I just fully activate it and then adopt it out to the rightful owner? Thanks!

I'd like to see this feature added as well. I submitted a puzzle the other day but couldn't get it published because a multi leg was 400 feet from it, and I had no way of knowing it. (Well except finding the cache )

Agreed. What ever happened to just signing the logbook and re-hiding a cache? Now there's no end to these bogus logs.

There are a few "abandoned" caches in my area. Luckily, area cachers step in to "care" for them to ensure their integrity.

One thing that I'm really disgusted in lately is logging an event multiple times. One person I saw did it 20 times!

Personally, I think the usage of google maps on cache pages is one of the best changes they've ever made to the site.

Has anyone ever had any problems ordering from this site? I ordered a coin many weeks ago and still have yet to receive it.

I wish I could but I'll have to wait till next year... I see your close... If you ever hunt any of my caches... Let me know and I'll give you a Home Ph. and stop by for a couple pops... Angola/Evans..... I'm setting up a test field in the back yard.. (I have the room) and a Good Cache (not no micro) across the Street.. Park at my place... STROL Sure thing. I'll definately come down to the Angola area in the near future and find all those great hides.
