  1. Hi All - I have a question regarding cache stats. I've run and uploaded "My Finds" queries on itsnotaboutthenumbers.com before but not I cannot find the unzipped file of my recent query on my computer. Has anyone had this problem before? Thanks! HuckleBuckle
  2. At least you guys have urban micros in your city. In my area the suburbs of the city are loaded with them but the actual city has very few, which is ashame since there are a lot of historical and/or great spots for caches.
  3. I've found a cache like this and was in the process of setting up one until the alarm in the cache decided to go off at 3:00 in the morning often.
  4. Received my two gold coins today. They look awesome! Great job on the coin! Happy Holidays.
  5. Yeah, whenever I go out caching with some buddies we play that song blaring in the car.
  6. I like the new layout. It's good to see an explanation of geocoins because a lot of people frequently post asking about them.
  7. I'll take 2. Both of the people I cache with most frequently have two passions : caching and casinos. This will be a perfect gift for them.
  8. Yep, fill out a form on earthcache.org and you'll have it up and running in no time. My first one went up and running yesterday.
  9. NYCacher has been a reviewer here in NY since June and is doing a great job! I support him.
  10. Yeah, I'll agree with those above and say that the calmness of the woods is what is so satisfying. There's nothing like getting away from the workplace for a nice hike by a babbling brook.
  11. Ammocans or Lock-N-Locks would be the best route.
  12. Can't wait for them to be transfered back and to also see new Earthcaches published on gc.com So many awesome spots are highlighted by these caches.
  13. Yes, unfortunately if a virtual cache is archived, it will remain archived forever. There have been many cases of cachers trying to adopt archived virtual caches only to receive the "It doesn't meet current guidelines" deal about why it can't be brought back. Lesson to be learned here: Don't archive your virtual caches!
  14. Yeah, Winter has its pros and cons like any other season when it comes to caching. I'd have to say it is probably my favorite time to go caching. I get out of the house, and it's easier to find caches since I just follow other people's footprints.
  15. I see the OP is from NY. Cemetery caches cannot be published in NY unless you have permission. A few were just listed here in Buffalo because the hider stated he was friends with the groundskeeper and the board members. So once ya have permission, I'm sure one of our two reviewers would be happy to publish your cache.
  16. I don't like the changes they made to the profiles by adding the ***'s and changing around the order.
  17. Just curious.. how does one submit a Mega Event cache? Do they have to email Groundspeak? Its not listed under the regular "hide and seek a cache" form.
  18. It seems like caches are becoming "de-listed" a lot more frequently than they used to be. At least in this area.
