  1. There's a Santa Village at the Arctic Circle near Rovaniemi, I have been there
  2. LE is in gold, and regular in silver. The light/dark color only indicates raised/recessed, not the metal. But I agree that different colors would have been handy to overcome misunderstandings.
  3. For the Fraher and Eagle coin, the sale was limited to 8 coins per order (without being mentioned by the geocoinstore). Does anybody know if this limitation is being applied to the MIGO 2006 too?? Or will it stay at 10 per order?
  4. And where is the icon for the Not Another Micro??? It's just a plain PC icon
  5. What, no more 'Email sent' and 'Paypaled'?? What a surprise
  6. I saw the Nevada Geocoin sales mentioned at the Geocoin store. But why is the Monday-sale flagged member-only as you stated this would be open for everybody?? Or is this an error? This is the reason that it is flagged for members only. It is in this same thread a few posts up. Just thought the Monday-sale was meant for the left-overs after the first-buyers got their chance at Friday...

  8. What was the question again? The ultimate question. The meaning of life?

  10. What do you do if you prefer traditional caches but you live in an area with almost only multis and "?"-Caches? Enlarge your cache-area? But I think you underestimate the amount of traditionals in Europe. So far the most of my founds are trads!
  11. The different cache types were meant to offer multiple ways to enjoy geocaching. So everybody can be happy to cache the way he/she likes best. Some like puzzles, other not. Some like long multis, other only hit-and-runs. You can always choose to ignore the caches you hate.
  12. The idea is that you can enjoy the surroundings (don't look at the gps all the time ) while walking the multi. And there's the surprise element which way you'll be directed after doing the 'interesting' counting and calculating the next waypoint. Most people don't like still having to walk for miles back to the car after the find, that's why the cache is often nearby the start. Not getting permission for placing the cache somewhere along the route is another reason.
  13. Is international shipping possible? Then count me in for 2 coins and 2 pins please.
  14. Received coin #192 today. Thanks again for the fun of the game and the nice coin!!
