  1. I don't live in that area, but if you want to come further south one day, I'll meet up with you. -Christina
  2. This is just a random post so Chuy will know I finally created an avator and he can see it. All better now?
  3. Thanks everyone for the congrats. One day I will be back here logging in with the big boys. Congrats to everyone else (kwver, chuy, redstarg, duncan) on your high counts.
  4. I'm not sure where Chula Vista is, or if that's even where you'll be caching. Look at my profile (Sean's Mom). I do almost all of my GeoCaching with my 9 month old son. So, if you're in the Chino/Montclair/Upland/Ontario areas or near Visalia, there are a few on my list that would work for you. Thanks for the info, guess I should be more specific. The San Diego area is where I am looking.
  5. To everyone who gave me cache info regarding kid friendly caches- Thank you.
  6. Hi everyone. I am taking a friend caching for the first time. He has two little girls. I was wondering if anyone could provide a list of kid friendly caches and caches that have stuff to trade (ie no micros). -Christina aka Bobisocks

  8. trying to delete duplicate and cannot. sorry.
  9. I will also be going to Hawaii soon. I will be there for the first time. I looked at the caches there and not being from Hawaii, I am very confused . How do I figure out which island each cache is on? I will probably only have my Sidekick so Google Earth won't be an option.
  10. Hmmm...so many caches in San Diego. I only know the South Bay area, 15 minutes from Downtown. Peter Piper swims to it is very (GCPZDR) well hidden (maybe too well), and I don't think it has been muggled. The Chula Vista Bike or Hike Trail series are all well hidden. How's your geography is a nice walk and big enough for lots of critters. Good Luck.
  11. My brother(joker11) bought a GPSr for his boating adventures and when online, discovered geocaching. So, he decided to drag me along with him. I used to have to use his GPSr or my husbands. Now that I have my own I usually drag him along with me.
  12. Dangit. I flunked the rocket science class. I knew I would need it one day. It involves rocket science... What you gotta do is use your web browser. Go to Geocaching.com and look for the little "NEW!" icon. (That's how we did it...) Of course, our task was made a little easier due to the fact that this was the week that there were 143 new caches within 450 feet of our house. (Ok, I'm exaggerating, but not by much...)
  13. I haven't got any new notifications until today. Then, a whole bunch came in today. Glad to know others were having the same problem. BUT, how did other people get the listings if we didn't????
