Setup / Map / Advanced Map Setup / Zoom Levels / Street Label - ON or OFF. Works for me. Oregon 550 with 3.52 Beta Firmware. However, it does appear the GPSr will 'cache' (no pun intended) the map screen and so with it turned off, on your return to the map screen the labels still show. I had to select a another geocache to make the map display change to someplace else, before the labels actually disappeared from view. Jon. Hmm I have Oregon 550 dont seem to have that problem ?? unless Im not working it right? I do have issues with the complex way it work you need a degree I recon as i left school 40 years ago im a bit stumped can you tell me how to update my founds on my own account??? Help

Im trying to find someone whoes used a Garmin Oregon 550 Im haveing trouble I have nothing on mine how do I load this on to the hand set what part of the program can I get at to load the cad file??? If that is what i have to do???

Yes I have just posted about this my Garmin 550 freezzess up how do you delete the down loads???I added 2 on and the origanal Tutorial is there as well???HelllllP

All though I only tried the tutorial on the set once and got 50 yards down the road I left it untill I had gone geo hunting I spotted a couple of down loads close to me Wherigo Hmm thats good ill try that down loaded 2 Hmm I have been learning to make a cartridge of my own ?? I thought I would run through the Tutroial on my Garmin Hmmmm just freezzes Up have to take batteries out to get it on again ??? any answers would be nice??

Hi yes I have and do use Universal Screen Protector from Car phone Warehouse? My Garmin Oregon 550 and one costs about £5.99 but cut it out and it makes 2 Is that cheap? I think so when you consider how much the unit costs?
