For those of us that use aggrigators or RSS feed readers, mabye we could have a RSS feed for each travel bug and cache that would send data about it to feed readers and such. It would be a great way to keep track of your caches, travel bugs, etc. I think that that would be a great feature for the site.

I am planning a cache that is a sequel to a current cache that I have placed, and I was wondering if it needed to be a multi cache. I have a decoder key in the first cache that lets you figure out the second one. It is possible to figure out the code without finding the first cache, but it would take a lot of luck. Would this need to be published as a multi cache? I am trying to avoid that because it is a seperate cache, and needs to have it's own page.

When I was in first grade, I found $350 dollars in a parking lot. I later put a cache there!

That's real mature. Frankly I think any cacher putting an ammunition container out in the wild with military markings on it is being irresponsible, especially around an urban environment, and is potentially endangering the game. But I obviously appear to be in the minority with my opinion and if that's the case, especially as a relatively newcomer to the game, I'll abide by the majority. The point is that ammo can is the personal property of the hider, painting it without permission is, in my view, no different than painting someone elses mailbox because you don't like the color. Contacting the cache owner should always be the first step, they may not realize the potential problem and will not only paint that cache but any others they have, now and future. If they don't, you did all you should do, maybe they just like keeping it original. I personally wouldn't mind if someone painted one of my caches to cover up the millitary markings on the side (shouldn't be a problem, I already did that myself). I would probably thank them for being thoughtful and thinking about that. I agree that putting an unmarked, millitary looking container in the middle of a public park is irresponsible and totally dumb!!! It gives all geocachers a bad name when things like that happen. I try to use containers that wouldn't be a problem so I don't even need to worry about this. I know that ammo cans are wonderfull, but I would go with a Lock-n-Lock to prevent my cache getting blown up.

I have never had a problem on a comercial airplane, but I took my GPSr on a private plane, saw that my top speed was over 400 mph in a little cessna plane! The altitude track was all messed up, though. Don't know why. -
I leave batteries, small tools(within reason), bug spray, topo maps of the area, geocoins, travel bugs, you name it. Hey, do you have my racing bug??? ;-) yeha- first on a new page!!!

I agree, even though I have posted a puzzle cache. It is pretty easy, but I don't like the idea of an imposible puzzle. -

I have one. Can you remove the red outline, add text in an orange to yellow gradient below it, and make the backgrount transparent? This is what I kind of want it to look like, only with the high-resolution image. The image needs to be full sized so it can go on a shirt. The plan: The start image: image -
I had some major problems too! it took me two hours to log 5 caches!

If It's Commercial Is It Really A Geocoin?
Team Firebird replied to Renegade Knight's topic in Trackables
You forgot to mention that you pay for the water you drink. I pay sewer fees, so I not only pay for the water I drink, but I pay for the water I pee! Septic Tanks rock!!! Not really, but they are free! -
I recently got an appalachian trail geocoin. On one side, It has a shape of the state of georgia with the trail marked. Is this going to be a set with one coin for every state that the trail goes through?
