  1. What is the mah rating of your batteries? I use 1900-2100 on my GPS MAP 64.
  2. I think KangaTek "Go" may be what you need.
  3. I'm looking for a used Magellan Meridian Gold. Thanks, Michael
  4. I will be traveling to India & would like to get a PQ for the whole country. Is there a way to increase the miles limit on a PQ?
  5. I had the same problem on my IIIxe. I didn't know that there is a brightness wheel on the side of the Palm. Turned the wheel & the problem was fixed.
  6. I can buy either the Explorist 300 or Explorist 200 at the same price, which one is better? Thanks, Geofogies
  7. If you are a premium member you can get the waypoints in a Pocket Qurey. Request the pocket query & wait until it is emailed to you. Open the file sent with your favorite software (I use GSAK). Then upload to your gps.
  8. We've been out of the country twice since we started caching almost a year ago. We decided not to cache in Italy because we thought we might get caught up in the caching and ignore everything else. That was probably a mistake--we found out on our recent trip to Jordan and Egypt that caching added a wonderful extra dimension to the trip. We found ALL of the caches in Jordan--two! One was the Lowest Cache on Earth, on a hill above the Dead Sea. We were so excited to find it! The second one was at Petra and it was high on a hill overlooking the ancient city--I can't begin to describe the feeling of finding this amazing cache. We also did a virtual in Giza at the Great Pyramid of Cheops and another awesome cache--high on a hill above the Tombs of the Nobels in Aswan, overlooking the Nile. It doesn't get any better than that! I have a feeling that almost any foreign cache is going to seem extra special. If you find yourself heading outside the US borders you should definitely load up your GPS unit and bring it along. You may not use it, but you don't want to regret not having it along.
  9. The best one I found in northern Illinois is (GB2 - The Gold Bug 2; "all cum ob de bug") http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...4b-b0db37b55bac
  10. I think this will help you. http://65.34.18.106/content.php?article.15
  11. Premium members of Geocaching can create pocket queries that would only list found caches. When this file arrives in your email you can place it on Google Earth.
  12. I always decrypt hints before printing cache sheets. I need to ask geocaching.com for the cache page twice. Once without decrypting & then with the hints decrypted. If my preference could be entered on my profile the geocaching.com site would reduce the requests for pages & possibly run faster.
  13. If I want to organize my search results by direction (N & NW) (S & SE) ect.... Is there a way to do that? I know I can select from the list but the software should offer that choice. Thanks Geofogies
