Im running IE8 on both computers. It works on the laptop but usually I have to click the button twice and sometimes it says internet explorer encountered an error and closes. I cant get my desktop to recognize the plugin at all. Im running Windows Vista 64bit.

Hey guys, I have a PN-40 and I am running version 2.7 firmware. Whenever I click on Send to GPS on my home computer the little screen pops up and says "Cannot find the plugin. Click the Download button to obtain the latest version." I have downloaded the latest version many times and restarted the computer only to get the same results" any idea how I can get this to work? Thanks

This is kinda my take on a multi. I know usually they do the same method as a unknown cache but I figure a true multicache should let you log the caches along the way. I will probably place the 7 other caches on the multi page as waypoints. I will probably print out a few copies of the cache pages to hand out at the event

Hi Guys, I am putting together a Multi-Cache. You need to find 7 caches and each cache has a card with a letter and number ex- A-3. When they find all 7 caches they will have all the numbers and a hint to lead them to the final cache which has a unactivated micro coin for the ftf and they will have logged 8 caches in the process. The question is I am putting this together for a caching event that is in a week and I dont want the caches published until after the event starts so that everyone at the event has an equal chance at being FTF. Anyone know how I can keep the caches from being published and viewed/found before the event?

I just bought the travel kit with the car and wall chargers and rechargeable battery pack. I plugged it into the wall to chage and hae it turned on. It shows it is charging. Will it actually display charge complete when the battery is fully charged or do I just need to unplug it after a few hrs?

I just recently bought a PN-40 and I love it. It works very well for geocaching, however, I am wondering if there is an easier way to place GPX files on it. I have been downloading them to my desktop then uploading them to TOPO USA 8.0 using the draw tab and import. I have to manually do that for 100 files. I had been able to drag them over to the map from the desktop but it wont let me do that now for some reason. I tried doing a pocket query but it doesnt get sent to my email and if I just click on the boxes from a search result I only get waypoints and no description/cache size/logs. Does anybody know of an easier way to transfer those files?

I am looking to buy a new GPS but I would actually like to be able to test it out and see how the different models work. Anybody have some suggestion on how to do this besides buying one from the store then taking it back if I dont like it. I really dont like that option since I might have to deal with restocking fees. Any suggestions?

I have just started geocaching (about a month now) and I am really getting into it. I have close to 100 finds. I currently use a older Magellan SporTrak unit and would like to get a new unit with paperless geocahing ability. I have been leaning towards the Lowrance Out&Back but I am open to suggestions. I would like a unit with batteries that can be swapped out and I would also like to be able to see roads on it. I dont want to have to spend more than $800 on the unit, maps, and upgrades. Any suggestions?

I have been geocaching almost a month and I have an older model GPS with no mapping/roads or directions. I am thinking about buying another GPS and the Lowrance Endura models with the paperless geocaching look awesome. I was wondering if anybody out there has used any of these models preferably the Out&Back and could give me some feedback on how this model is working out for them. Do the descriptions load quickly, is it accurate, any bugs? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
