  1. I did get the email. I am out on Spring break with my kids. Should be able to get this off to you tomorrow afternoon when I get back. Larry I spoke with Sprint at the end of the week. The device is in certification testing and should be on the deck in the best case within a few weeks (no promises though as we don't control the process). Larry (Trimble Outdoors) Just checking in to see if any new info is known about status of LG Rumor. I'm really wanting to purchase this phone, but want to make sure that GN will work with it. I've looked at a few of the other phones listed as "supported phones" on the trimble.com website. Don't really like the ones I could find and there are several that I can't even locate as being sold by Sprint. Just hoping that the Rumor will be in the list asap! Sprint is currently doing certification testing, still... Becuase of a few changes in the way the phones work, we have had to work with them a bit more. Good news is that we are still moving forward. I wish I had a better answer but that is the status as of today. I will post on the forums once we have had movement. Larry (Trimble Outdoors) So I am assuming this is also the current status of the Samsung M520?
  2. I just recently purchased a Samsung m520 from Sprint. What is the latest word on this phone? Thanks in advance for your help!
  3. I think that GPS has made us lazy. I mean, heck, it basically takes you by the hand like a little kid. The only use for a GPS in geocaching, in my opinion, is when placing a cache but still that can be done using a good topo and other maps. Angusfire
  4. I recieved that email and replied back with the appropriate corrections but have not received word back. This process should not take longer than 48 hours. How do you become a reviewer anyways. Angusfire
  5. Call me crazy but I believe geocaching is much more exciting and way more rewarding without the aid of a GPSr. Printing out the street and topo maps make the search much more, well, a search. More like a real treasure hunt. Yes, I do have a GPSr. Is there anyone else out there that agrees with me or am I the only physco that likes to roam the woods lost for hours at a time. May the lost roam free, Angusfire

  7. I was wandering the same thing. I have noticed that almost all of the new caches, including mine, have taken over a week. Someone should really step in and do something. Angusfire
