  1. This is too funny....at least none of our butts look big! I LOVE IT!! That would be perfect to hang up in the 'Geochicks Hall of Fame'............er, uhhh, well, if we had one! Great job pal, this is a classic!!! Splashette Not to worry Janie ... there's a GeoChicks Hall of Fame in my heart. Who would have thought that times would change so ... once upon a time gals had to be tricked out into the woods with that silly old snipe- hunting ploy; now y'all are out on the trails in great numbers to track down every last hide. Kiss, kiss, Harmon Nice job, Harmon! I'm kind of glad you gave up on FaceBook - there's too much fodder there for you to Photoshop! So are you suggesting that I should rethink my strategy? One thing for sure, searching for decent Facebook images didn't pay off that well, just found the three images I've used. Nearly fell out of my chair when that Heroines image came up in a search-result... couldn't resist doing something with it. Here's a little tidbit for you ... there's one GeoChick that is completely opposed to having her picture taken. Knowing that and thinking ahead to the Heroines layout I put my arm around that photo-shy lady and hauled her up beside me during one of the HoF group shots at the M*A*S*H event. As it turned out she was facing exactly as needed for one of the Heroines in that layout and she flashed a smile to die for. Can you name the Geocacher in question? Come to think of it, who can name everybody in that layout? Her name starts and ends with a D and there's 8 letters total, but don't want to give it away yet
  2. I can see the hils from my back yard and never knew it was on fire.
  3. Regression, we're headed back to the caves where grunts and pokes suffice. What a waste, all that time I spent learning to spell and learning to construct a sentence. What was that word? O yeah, flabbergasted! How do you cut that word down to size for texting? R u flbrgstd 2? Wait a minute, now I get it ... texting was invented to stop people from screaming at their cell phone in public places. Yeah, that's it ... that's definitely a good thang. Now I feel all better, you know, for a curmudgeon. For someone who says he doesn't text your pretty good at it. The only way that I am going to stop coming to the threads is the day I don't make ROLL CALL. Truth is I'm forced to be good at it because it's the pipeline between my sweet bride and her grandchildren, with me providing IT on demand. So then it's down to you and LLOT, and me ... and a few others including one guy from Arizona and a babe or two from England. We had our days my friends, too bad it had t' end. It only end's two ways and gave you the first way so for those who are wondering about ROLL CALL it means that I am dead and the second way is if you let it.

  5. For Number one I would say Flabbergasted!!!!!!!!! For Number Two I would call them Centaury; Rosita (Centaurium calycosum) Found Picture and discription in the Audubon Society Field Guide. Just do not know how to post pictures from a book. Bless you on both counts. Sure helps knowing the names, now there's images all over the Internet for this delighful find Amazing to find so many of them in Sycamore Canyon. Also I recall, in 2006, running across a few that were blooming near the "Lone Tree" cache up on the ridgeline above and west of Spring Canyon, north of the fifty-two. Imagine of that Fanita Ranch development came to past, bulldozers would have taken care of this stand of lovely and seldom-seen flowers. For anybody that wants to see carpets of Rosita Centaury in bloom, hurry out to GC226Y in Sycamore Canyon right away. My guess is that you have, at most, another week ... maybe two. So what's the word for recovering from a state of being flabbergasted? Thanks ever-so much for your interest and research in this matter. I'll add Rosita Centaury to my list of favorite flowers. Harmon SD Rowdies Was busy planting crops and flowers on my farm on facebook so what was your question? OMG, not you too John! You're the last one I figured would sell your soul to FaceBook. What will the wild turkeys think? No, wait, they aren't really wild are they? That does it ... I hereby abandon all hope for meaningful exchanges on Geocaching Forum threads. Guess I'll have t' come over t' FaceBook so's I can "Like" you, "Poke" you, and trade some fertilizer with you. Any chance you would trade some fertilizer for a start of Centaurium venustum; Charming Centaury? Holy croak, that's it, I've finally crossed over into the curmudgeon stage of my life. The end is here! Note to Self: Hmm, wonder if he took FATTBOY with him? Yes he is and he is the one that brought me to FACEBOOK. You would be surprised how many cachers are on FaceBook, Just found a old friend who I haved heard from since 84. So come on over to the DARKER SIDE HARMON.

  7. Well don't want to be square so me and GEO YODA will be there.
  8. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF THE GEO MOM'S
  9. Hah! I left that hand empty knowing that a snake or a comic fishline would wind up in it. James, you made me laugh. Nice work by the way. Now it's a manly-man shot. Note to Self: Gosh, I wonder if anybody likes my work? I was thinking a beer should be there.
  10. CONGRATS TO SKILLET ON GOING OVER 4500. ADD DANCING THINGS HERE. ( )
  11. think fisnjack may want to change his name to snakenjack...hope ya feel better I need to put out some one-handed caches...Jack is having trouble opening the logs with his cast on! So is John home?
  12. OMG! ... I'm getting a visual ... Jodi, Barrie, Janie, Denise, and gosh-knows how many other vine-ripened babes out hiding Geocaches together. Now there's what might become the ultimate power trail. Sounds like a one-of-a-kind event that should have an accomplished photo- grapher and Photohop professional along to document the occasion. I'll ask around and see if I can locate a suitable and willing candidate to tag along behind, not as a guy, but as the photographer in drag. You go girls, Harmon Sorry Harmon...we're gonna take YODA and TeamFatman...for when Barrie gets the FJ stuck...we're vine-ripened ladies, but we haven't lost our minds....now to think of a good open trail with lots of room for caches....??????? O well, at least I begged. Can't believe that Team Fatman aced me out. What I'll take away from this gentle rejection is that vine-ripened ladies prefer Toy' Trucks, rifles, and dead turkeys. Go figure, all this time I believed that donut-eyes and paper-bag hats were irresistable. In truth I'm glad that you are smart enough to see through my repeated efforts to stir up trouble on these Forum threads. Hmm, vine-ripened ladies placing caches from 4WD rigs .... that's going to leave me and my poor ol' feet out of the finders crowd. Sounds like a another case for my Self-absorbing pillow. Boo-hoo, Poor ol' Harmon Note to Self: Could it be my brand of body-wash? If you promise not to tell the girls you can ride with me in YODA.
  13. If you really want a 4wd then come drive YODA.
  14. What a brown-noser. Hey do you have room for a NV J&J? Cruz over to This Just In and check out the picture SKILLET took today.
  15. Once the sticker wears out, the first person with the name kwvers! gets the Jeep! It was time for you to get a new one anyway... Sure I got one, need your address e-mail me. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
  16. If you are going to groom the trails for the jeeps you are going to be behind YODA.
  17. Ya know Harmon I think it's to late to butter Jodi up now but picture looks nice. Let me go through this again, my goal is to keep Jodi's mind off of the fact that John is far-away on a six-month deployment. Sweet ol' boy like me is just tryin' to give Jodi something else to dwell on like tryin' t' kill me. O the sacrifices I make for my gal pals. ... but that's o.k., don't worry about me, I'll be o.k. Only time will tell if your ok.
  18. Ya know Harmon I think it's to late to butter Jodi up know but picture looks nice.
  19. OMG!!! Harmon, how COULD you!! Better polish your hiking boots, buddy, 'cause the dam's about to break!!! Man also it's going to be slippery with all of this rain
