Will there be any geocaches hidden for this event? Can we get there early? Should we bring some chili? Will there be a poker run? Will we need 4 wheel drive? ....oh nevermind....We will be there! Wouldn't miss it.... Now where is my calendar? Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Does that answer your questions There is one no to the questions so guess which one?
  2. Were's the other part of the sticker that say's OVER!!!!!!
  3. Nice one! O sure, somehow I knew that you would like this one. Sorry that there isn't one of those silly Facebook "Like" buttons for you to click. I tried clicking on the "Like" button but it didn't work... Just my luck ... why does everything always happen to me? Think of how I feel ... "0 people liked this." I still claim that there should be a "Dislike" button. So what's the chances that the SD Rowdies banner photo will become a desktop image for somebody? I suppose I could offer to do a tuneup on Jodi's computer so's I can substitute her desktop image once again. Good gosh, I spent two whole days working on her computer just so I could swap her desktop image. It was worth it. Besides, I kind of like the ol' broad; you know, more or less. You know the photo you took from up on the hill by the dump looking down on the 52 and santee will that is my desktop image so yes it has happened.
  4. Thank you harmon i love it even made it my Profile pic. on FACEBOOK
  5. So you're saying that I'm one of a kind? For Facebook Users: SYS Im OOAK? (Excuse me for using a complete sentence.) Yes and lucky for us your the best.
  6. Jodi, What have you done to Harmon????
  7. Uh-huh, here's a challenge for you ... try to find a puzzle cache that has an SD Rowdies log entry. Jodi, I have quite a few disabled caches that need replacement, would you please send John out to replace them for me? Ha Ha ...I would be glad to...if you will come over and trim the Pepper Tree, paint the new geocache-manufacturing shed (aka garden shed) , weedwhack the bank, chicken wire the roses. kill the gopher, build my blackberry garden, etc etc. do you think retirement for John means just geo-caching everyday? Kill th' gopher! ... what did that little critter ever do to you? Now Jodi dear, seriously, I'm getting the feeling that you've lost control of your dear husband. You need to tighten up on John before it's too late ... give him too much slack and he'll go feral on y'. The central issue here is not what I think John should be doing with his retirement ... it's what you allow him to think of doing with his retirement. That honey-do list is out of control ... the key word for this situation is "Smackdown!" Still, I'm nothing if not a willing helper ... let me know when the blackberries are ready for pickin' and I'll be right over t' help. Sweet ol' Harmon SD Rowdies Jodi darlin', Couldn't sleep the other night thinkin' about all of that house and yard work you need done. So I drove down to your place yesterday to check on things. What I saw was that John is draggin' his feet about painting th' Geocache-container fabrication shack. Y' hate t' see a job left partly done like that ... with a paint brush throwed down, dried up, and forgotten about. Y' might want t' have a little talk with John, motivational-wise, if y' know what I mean. Glad t' help, Sweet ol' Harmon SD Rowdies Hmmm...I'm not sure that you of all people should be hurrying up the Geo-Container Making shed completion project! You do realize that once I get in there and start working you'll be climbing hills again don't ya? Did John show ya the 3 large tupperware bins full of container making equipment? Or the stack of ammo cans..what about the gross of birdhouses needing paint? I'm sure he didn't show you the 450 bison tune minus the ones we sold to Ol Mossback did he????? Be careful what ya wish for my dear OLD Man! OMG! my days are numbered. Why didn't I think of that? Once upon a time Team Fatman and Skillet looked after me. Apparently I'm on my own now. Bison tubes in a bush ... sheesh. Poor ol' Harmon Still got your back but hard to cover it while laughing from reading the posts between you and Jodi. John, thanks for covering me ... but where were you the other day when I faced Jodi one-on-one? I was just about to pull out of her driveway when she surprised me by pulling in. I slammed on the brakes, leaped out of my truck, and ran for cover. That ol' gal is sure quick. She had me in a bear-hug within my first four steps and squeezed me down to a size-small with her ample arms ... laughing maniacally all the while and yelling "I'll get you my pretty and your little dawg too!" When I came to, both me and my truck were at the Old Iron Bridge. There was a note pinned to my bottom lip that read "Have a nice day Harmon. Love Jodi." I don't know about you Team Fatman but it seemed to me that I was dealing with mixed-signals. That ol' gal shore is entertaining. See she likes you just imagine if she didn't. Oyea was down at OTL parking cars sorry about that.

  11. Funny my wife says i'm crabby sometimes.
  12. Unbunched...socks...can make me cry... (Sounds like the beginning of a hit song...) Sunshine, on the garter ... looks so lovely. Note to Self: Where th' heck was James when I needed him on the Slaughterhouse 5 allusion? PUD-cakes, ... almost always make me high. Note to Self: Try finding good stuff like this on Facebook! you are going to share that right? Uhm, well ... that one got shared with the gang that drove Otay Mountain Truck Trail a very long time ago. As I recall you were there that day and also you completed a find-count milestone as well. Thing was that a few of you split off from the convoy before the PUD cake was served. I ate your piece; in fact, you had two servings that I had to eat for you as well as eating my own two servings. I was smart enough to have the PUD-cake baker riding along as a passenger in my truck. Here's the way I worked it all out - BoysnBarrie + PUD Cake = Harmon + Truck I'm old and now-and-then I'm stupid but I'm never hungry. Life don't get no gooder than that! Note to Self: The only man in history to have a PUD cake atop Otay Mountain. You are the MAN!!!!

  14. so happy you enjoyed the cake, and my pleasure to bring it to you.

  16. Not so fast! If it can recognize faces then surely it can recognize cache containers. In order to log the cache you need to show both your mug and the specifically encoded Bison tube which can only be obtained by rooting around in that laurel bush. Sorry, Harmon... But before I go, consider that there might be even further implications of this technology. Sgt. Argyle would no doubt approve of the following cache. Using this technology, you could have an Unknown cache that has the additional logging requirement that socks must be properly bunched as verified by the video camera. James, I bow to the depths of your reasoning. Just what I need, product ID codes on Bison-tube hides. Ye Gods, that's a Jodi technological nightmare that speaks of limitless suffering. You mean t' tell me that I would actually have t' start spotting, opening, and signing Bison tubes? Next thang y' know Geocachers will have t' actually solve puzzle caches on their own. What next? ... no more leap- frogging power-road hides? As to Sgt. Argyle and the possibiity of unbunched-sock recognition ... that's a good thang. I've spoken to Captain Neezoks of the San Diego County Unbunched Sock Police about this idea and he said that he's already workin' on it. What's it all comin' to? Oh for Heaven's sake Harmon...just come on over and I'll let you sign the 450 bison tubs before I cover them with fake pine needles or stick them in a bird house...... Speaking of Sgt Argyle..I saw this amazing picture of Habu! with unbunched socks on FACEBOOK, but I didn't know how to steal it and send it to you...so the infraction went un-punished..so sad! Jodi darlin', My dream come true, to become your offical Beta Tester. Finally my ship has come in, a chance to skyrocket to the top of the find-count chart while I'm still a young man. Is there room for an Army cot and lantern in your cache-container warehouse? As for Habu!'s infraction, I have it from a reliable source that he owns only one pair of socks that once upon a time were knee-socks but now tattered and torn. I'm also told that he darns his own socks. Go figure. Maybe some other "Friend" can put the unbunched-sock photo into circulation by way of Sgt. Argyle and the San Diego County Unbunched Sock Police. That would surely count as a thoughtful public service. As ever, Sweet ol' Harmon What a minute someone must of hacked into Jodi's account there's no way she wrote that, come on over and sign the 450 bison's.
  17. CONGRATS TO THE SPLASHES THEY HIT 20 GRAND TODAY.
  18. Got the phone call asking for help and so wished me and YODA could of helped, but I was at work, and I'm not going to answer the question.
  19. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL GEO MOM'S.
  20. Isn't that how he got hopelessly wedged into the window opening? That and having an 'over the wall' beer guy? Anyway it's not like it's mixing Judy Garland and Shirley Temple.. oh my! How do you like my version... Can't complain without offering a fix, I always say.. I need some more practice... let's just say I know a little about working with images and video... but I'm far from gifted if you know what I mean... this was also quick and dirty work... Nice to see you again... get a chuckle out of watching your graphic attempts to get lynched by friends... I don't have any so I don't care much... The guys that play over in the Where in Canada quiz (Canada forum) seem to think I'm a whiz at that... I don't mind much, but I've only not found 4 or five out of hundreds... often first (more than I claim for sure, but the hider knows) mostly using only the pic and Google Earth... fun game... I just put up an offering this morning... got to go get lunch... first in days. Doug 7rxc 73 Aha! another Forum Photoshop guy, how good is that? Do stop by now and then, I need all the help I can get to shield me from the slings and arrows of my fabulous Geocaching pals. Hey John, how's this for a pit crew? Imagine a pit crew like this with a combined Geocaching find-count of about 150,000 smileys! One thing for sure, that bunch of ol' gals always make me smile. Note to Self: Hmm, does that car make his butt look big? I like it great choice thanks for everything.
  21. Thought I'd drop back by again... especially since it's critique time apparently... I'd go with the car (56 from the src pics) shadow that should have been removed from behind 33 since it should have been from 4x the white car.. and you appear to have slipped up on the door post of 56 overlapping the roof of the 33 just a bit while fitting in that last decal... just a bit of 'black'. At least you removed that person standing behind the 33 in the source pic... Was he the over the wall 'beer' refill person for the team? Got to run... Doug 7rxc Slipped up" huh? Why I oughta ... Absolutely, thanks for checking in with a good critique. Put it all down to cheap labor and my marriage to an ex-nun, you know; domestic chores-wise. Here's the official thumbs-up from the driver after his victory spin. Note: A young guy would have celebrated from the rooftop and then back-flipped to the trophy presentation. I'm not young.
  22. Thanks Harmon was in car #33 and will wait for a night we are all around a fire. Will say this it was a blast.
  23. April Fools? Hey that's my line. But I did fool someone even got a phone call and no will not say who it was, sorry. That was just my phone butt-dialing you, John. I swear that's all it was... I never said it was you Tom.
