This may be a Groundspeak thing. I don't know if is possible, but can the coordinates of a cache be added to the notification emails about placed caches? This is why I ask. Yesterday I was at a scout meeting and I got an email/text on my phone telling me there was one placed. Great we can go after the meeting... but where? I had my cell and my Oregon, but no coordinates. So I go home and check where it is and it was back on the other side of town where I originally was. Grrr. My hope is that the email/txt came in on my phone with the Long/Lat in it, ad it in the GPSr, and go straight to the cache! I could even get a few more FTF's!

So has anyone seen the leaks on the Oregon 500t? And does anyone know when it is coming? I've been saving for a Colorado or an Oregon and this new model peaked my interest.

This might be fun to be able to track how many FTF you have under your belt. Me personally, I only have one but I'm proud to be the first! In a PC world that wants everyone to be a winner, I go against the grain because I still like the feeling of being first!

Mine is on it's way from Nebraska to Lieah, Pakistan! Gee, there isn't any unrest near the Afghan-Pakistan border is there? Plus there isn't a cache for a couple hundred miles, and those are in afghanistan.

The mystery cache could also be a final stage of a multi-cache, so the original coordinates don't point to that one cache location!... OR... those darn aliens dropped it out the back door of their ship!

Im'relatively new and want to know if anyone out there has a site or is there a place on geocaching.com to see what the different containers look like? Someone asked me if it was a Buffalo capsule I found. I had no clue what one of those looked like so I kinda looked like a dear in the Headlights! I wish there was a way to make people photo the containers before they hide it and put it in the gallery of the chache's page. Then the newbies like me would know what they were looking for! Just an idea!
