  1. Seems to me Marky was taking a few shots??
  2. If you haven't found it yet - I would recommend "Get the Point" in Ripon. Very clever and FUN! That would be a very nice #100. -Tom-
  3. FWIW, We of the "Southern" end of CVC are planning a side trip to "Wait Until Dark" right after our EVENT cache "Picnic with the Blackbird." So, if anyone wants to tag along, we can carpool. That's Saturday, September 17th - probably head out about 5 pm or so. -Tom-

    Pq - Found

I've tried several techniques but can't seem to find the right combination of PQ's. I'm trying to keep GSAK in sync with my finds. If I do a "Found by User Name" on the "Hide and Seek a Cache" page - the results are correct (645 total finds) My problem is that I can't seem to duplicate that number using PQ's. a) There is a limit of 500 in a PQ, so you need to break it down by state. PQ's don't seem to be finding old "event" finds. Is there way to implement the "found by username" feature as a PQ without the 500 limit?
  5. Well - here's one of my pet peeves and a firmware enhancement request. 1. You are using the Explorist in STREET ROUTE mode and you get to the end of a route. The stop sign is showing. 2. If this is a cache point, you now need to change to the point-to-point routing which takes "several" button pushes. My request is to be able to change from Street Routing to point to point with a single click of one button. (Or maybe when the stop sign pops us, add a question, "Change GOTO to point to point?") Anyone else find this a little annoying?
  6. Back to the original subject of the thread - from the TIGERGPS web site: SHIPPING FRIDAY, MAY 6 - (for the Explorist 600's) What will Marky do??
  7. I use GPXSONAR with my Dell Axim 50 and it works great! Note that it is not the PDA that matters, but the OPERATING SYSTEM. The "current version" of gpxsonar (1.3.1) is for PocketPC 2003. There is an older version available on their website for the older Windwows Mobile 2002. It sounds like that's the one you have downloaded. I'd say just go to their web page http://gpxsonar.homeip.net/default.aspx and downlaod the current version. Look in the dark green center area about a page doen from the top, Good caching - and PAPERLESS is way kewl.

    Delete Queries

When deleting queries, is it correct that you have to open each one you want to delete - and then delete from the detailed page? If so, it sure would be nice to have a "delete" column on the query listing page.
  9. Well - I have my first cache - which was approved yesterday. But no matter what I do, it has the line through it, like it is disabled. Can someone tell me why? UC Merced - huh?? by Photom (GCMB5M)
  10. Newbie to both Geocaching.com and GSAK. 1. If I select all caches on a page on geocaching.com, then download waypoints, it calls GSAK but doesn't update all fields. The cache type and last4 logs and last log date are not updated. But if I download the gpx file individually, it all works. Can I download gpx files in groups somehow, instead of one at a time? 2. The DNF checkbox field does not update the color for not found on GSAK. What does the "not found" color really signify?
