I contacted a representative of the ACGA about the "Geocaching in Nova Scotia Parks Passport Program" which is on the map and list. The listing mentions a reward of "geocoins." According to the representative, they no longer have geocoins available for finding the geocaches. However the geocaches themselves still appear to be active.

The "Civil War Geotrail" geocaches in Alabama have been archived and the Geotrail is no longer available.

A note on the cache page says that the series was retired at the end of 2013 and coins were only available through Feb 2014.

According to the Athens County History Geotrail (Ohio) webpage, there are no coins left for the geotrail.

 

Also, the Black Walnut Geotrail (West Virginia) cache page states no more coins are available for the geotrail.

I'm hosting my first ever event next month. I thought I saw somewhere about Groundspeak doing donations for events, but I haven't been able to find anything about it. Does anyone know if they donate? Is it only to certain sized (large or mega) events? Are there others that donate to geocaching events? I am hoping to have a great first event and would like to have some nice prizes. Thanks!
