  1. We would rate this cache a 2/1 or 2/1.5 at the most! The only reason most people would rate it more than a 1 terrain is because of the "Handicap Accessible" assumption that is associated with 1 star terrain ratings. However I think most people underestimate the capabilities of handicap people. The area looks like a wheelcair could roll right up to the sign. So if it is reachable/replaceable with a stick from their chair, why couldn't it be a 1 star terrain? I agree that the system only allows 5 stars, so how could this be a 4/4 compared to caches in other states where serious climbing is involved? As long as we are left to rate our own caches, people will continue to overrate their caches, sad but true!
  2. I think it's totally lame to PAF/TAF while after the FTF on a cache. People are so caught up in the FTF, they'll do anything to get it. While there are NO RULES on the FTF or PAF/TAF does that make it ok? NO, it's not fair to someone that could go out to the cache and find it without help. My question to the PAF/TAF people, what kind of satisfaction do you get out of finding a cache that the CO basically told you where it was? Isn't it much more exciting when you find a cache, especially a tough one, on your own? Being from TSAWSF's area I know exactly what they're talking about. The FTF hounds around here are crybabies when they get beat to FTF, so best believe if they are on the FTF hunt and know the CO, they'll be placing calls. Funny thing is when they do it on the easy caches. P.S. C.O.D. is a TSAWSF HATER, don't listen to him.
  3. They pretty much sum it up. It's short, sweet and to the point. Anyone who logs their own caches or caches they've helped place, are LAME!You know where the caches is, so go find some that you had no part of and log those caches as "finds". LAME, you should be ashamed!
  4. I agree, why are badges being posted at all? When has running into the cops while geocaching become cool? I thought one of the attractions to this sport/hobby is the fact that we are kind of like an underground society. Well the more negative attention that is drawn to the sport, the more it becomes known. Lets try and be a little smarter while caching, a little less obvious and encounters with LEO won't happen. That's unless your wanting to fill up your badge page!
