Amen to that. The solution to more micros in the woods is more well thought out regular caches and keeping the field robust. Make it a HIKE! And saturation is off set by attrition. Caches come and caches go. Maybe we need to remove older caches when they have outlived their audience. A rotation would be good and reduce the geotrails.

The whining is thick in here. 30 bucks is a bargain-but we could charge a whining surcharge...Or a poor sport penality. I think I just go back to reading logs.

I don't think adding a temp log is a problem,but it does need a maint. note in addition. It is a PIA to get all the way to a cache and not have a log, but sometimes life conspires against us and it cannot get replaced right away. Temps help if done right. I carry extra small bags to put the wet one in and add the temp.
