Just to inform those interested that the 2013 Mega Event will be held in the West Midlands Region. Date confirmed: 3rd August, 2013. (The Saturday after Mega-Piratemania) arrrggghhhhhhhh Venue to be confirmed early next year. Expect the unexpected....

If I said a local parks? On public footpaths? Rights of Way ? if someone has already put one there, do I need to get permission if its less than 1/2 mile away from the other one?

All I want is if there is someone whom lives in Stoke on Trent give me some advise of whom I contact either a dept or person to gain permission !!! doesn't make any difference how many or size - I would like to place my first hide From my first Post = "I am looking for some help I am interested in doing my first Cache Hide, but I'm wondering who do I contact or is there a permission in agreement already? I have emailed a couple of cachers whom have already got a hide nearby asking them for details but to no reply? As a Newbie I want to follow the rules and dont want to put my foot in it with local land owners, so do I accept that they have permission or what?? Can anyone advise me please, "

Thanks Bear, I have looked at that but the only one in Staffordshire is The Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. I actually live in Stoke on Trent and have contacted a couple of those whom have placed hides to ask for some contact details or dept to contact basically advise. I have gained approx 100+ film canisters that I want to use...... Again thanks
