  1.   make a waypoint then use the toggle key, the big on in the middle, scroll up to the section that has the coordinates on it then press the enter key and you can change the coordiantes to what you want. It explains all this in the INSTRUCTIONS
 hez right and one more advice the first cache is the hardest one but mine was easy
  2. Thank you so much. I realized that you are from chicago and so am I. I live in Naperville and I am doing this for a school project which i choose the topic. Our teacher talked about in the class and got my attention I took my g/f to the coordinates but I didn't realized that it was dd mm ss' so i didn't have a lot of fun now i know what i am doing. This will be a great experience, and again thank you so much for your help. I will try to find the cache on X-mas eve ;)

  3. i was just curious... i didn't do that.. well i have another question i know where is my cache is and i m goin to do that for sure what do i have to do... do i have to log do something and tell that i m going there or should i just go there put my "gift" come back and upgrade the cache?

  4. i will need this information today guys... what should I do first? I got the coordinates for a cache should I put that into "goals/jobs" or should I just go and find it and change the cache "gift" and update the info about that cache

  5. I am thinking of putting out a Travel Bug that is one of the Lance Armstrong wristbands

I have one and i think its pretty cool and u can support the "live strong" it is not expensive so its a perfect cache "gift"

  6. I have one more question I have a travel bug and I did the "sign up" thing for it so i m good. You can add jobs and stuff like that but other than that what is the purpose of the travel bug..

<I think it cools really cool thats y i bought from the 'net LoL>

  7. I understood but my format is in ddd mmm ss.s'' here i will write the whole thing

    Postition Frmt: hddd mm'ss.s"

    Map Datum : WGS 84

    UNITS: Statute

    North Ref: Magnetic

    Variance: 002(degrees) W

Tell me if I have to change anything

  8. The other common mistake is having your GPS set to read coordinates as degrees, minutes and seconds (ddd.mm.ss) instead of degrees, minutes and decimal minutes (ddd.mm.mmm).

N29° 30' 45" (degrees minutes and seconds) would be 29° 30.750 in degrees minutes and decimal minutes. Cache pages all list cootdinates in the dd.mm.mmm format.

A newer GPSr with only 2 digits after the decimal is likely set to degrees, minutes and seconds.

How do u convert to that? can u teach me?
