I'm currently using the Garmin's GPSmap 60CSx. I dowload the coordinates using the program provided on the cache pages.... But the hints don't get downloaded. 1) How do I get the hints into my GPS? 2) Is there a better program so I can upload several at a time? 3) Is there anywhere I can go to download the maps of Europe into my GPS? I only have North America. Thanks

Ok... When I've activated coins in the past the codes came in my e-mail. But with this Canadian Coin it didn't. I didn't bother writing the code down because I was going to go to my e-mail later to get it... well it wasn't there... I pressed back to get back to the page and the code was no longer there. I've contacted the company and they won't help me. They said I should have written it down... that it's a one shot deal... so now what? Does anyone have any ideas? I want my coin to be activated! Is there a way or did I just waste $12.00?

You can see the first few letters in the code. The last three are impossible to make out. No photo sorry. I got the tags ingraved today. If that doesn't help, not sure what will. Just too bad I spent good money on crappy coins. My other coins are fine.

I'm not sure if this has happened to you, but I've been carrying my coins with me for months now and finally decided to launch them ... but noticed that the numbers are gone! I guess I should have kept them in the protective plastic. I just didn't expect that! I bought Travel Bug Buddy tags and will get the number ingraved on those. Hopefully that will help and I'll be able to launch these GAS coins soon. Has anyone else reported the same problem? Is it the makers of the coin? The type of metal? what? Thanks!

Where do you find people who have old ones to trade? And are the geo-coins on e-bay stolen coins or new unactivated ones?

I was interested in knowing if anyone has subscribed to GCC. Is it worth it? Are there different icons each month? Do you have choice of coins in the month? If you choose to buy more than one a month, do they all have to be the of same coin, or can you buy different ones? How did you find the quality and service? Thanks for your info!

Someone just told me that some printers have a scale option. Mine does not. So I guess I'm just SOL. Bummer!

This game works on an honour system and this extreme fellow "extramask" is not very honourable. It's too bad we can't just give him the boot!!!! Before I checked the forum, I placed my bugs in "last location" and now the location is marked "unknown", so I'll do the grab thing. Thanks! ( I just didn't want to grab it from him. I didn't want him to gain from this childish act) I'm in the process of taking new photos as I don't have photoshop on my computer, nor any other program to blur the numbers out. It was a lot of work the first time around, so I don't know if I'll have it done on time for the even this weekend... which sucks majorly... lesson learned!

Thanks for your help. I did delete the log. My bugs no longer appear on his list, but he still appears in mine. It says he has my bugs still. I'm not sure how to do that. I'm also unsure if my bugs are still on his count or not. That is a rude way of getting your numbers up. I'll retake photos later.

ok. I got my TB tags a few weeks ago and activated them for the Martime Competition this coming weekend... but when I visited my e-mail this morning they had all been "grabbed". How do I prevent this from having? And delete this virtual grabber? I don't want to grab it back from him as he never had them. I want to delete the fact that he ever had them because he never did. HELP!

Coins are rare here. I've only found one and releaed it. I've purchased 2 and am on a waiting list for several others right now. I'm thinking of putting 4 or 5 different coins together on a chain with a TB and mission paper. I hope that I don't lose all of them at once. That would be a pain on my side. I'm hopeful that people will pass it along as it will be more like a TB... we'll soon find out.

I've never done thins but I've heard people doing it because: 1) They couldn't help the TB with it's mission (going in the wrong direction that day) 2) It was a really well saught after TB (ex: jeep) and knew that 10 other people would be looking for it that day. As long as they were at that cache and signed the log, it shouldn't cause any harm.

The way the story started, I was sure someone tried the keys and realized it was the keys to their car... your old car... now that would have been funny!!!! Nice story... Thanks for sharing! You really ready to part with it?
