  1. Yes for sure, but you have to look for quality, or some kind of guarantee in either one. (would like a link for a seller too) I have recently purchased another key chain liquid type. I can't get the little key chain ones to last long, but that's always with a bunch of keys, not by it self, so they beat on pretty good. The bubble gets larger or hard to center it. I guess they can't take to much beating on?
  2. I have just purchased 2 walking poles from, Wally World, that have the small compass on the top of the handle. They are the liquid filled ones that are better, and more accurate than the floating magnetic needle ones. I don't know what small compass Dudeface is looking for? liquid filled or magnetic needle?
  3. As a new be, I find these forums have more rules than Geocaching itself! It is a shame that there are more Deputy Moderators than Moderators and I have been rudely shot down by them. I have found many times the search function not working. I have been to the getting started section, and find out I'm wasting time going thru pages of posts to find an answer to what I was looking for, or my imputation of the question. What's the big deal when someone asks the same question? I do have 10 years of forum use likes the OP, and never been, or seen one as Communist as this forum. I will still use the forum for information, and hopefully some fun, (that's scarce here) I believe that was what it was created for? I just have to do a lot of weeding out of the guidelines posted by the Deputy's and the Moderators, over, and over, and over, and somewhere in between them, I might even learn something about Geocaching, Maybe get a laugh, but most of the information here is how to use these forums politically correct.
  4. Does the Fabreeze work at the atomic level? I know it works well, and have used it around the house only. I am out of it now, does anyone have a bottle to post, if any, the precautions for animal use? There were many remedies posted, and they all sounded great. And keep an eye out for this bad dog! Can chew your little toe nail off!
  5. A very recent photo, like I took it yesterday when going for Bye Bye Birdie cache.
  6. I have been placing 2, new AAA batteries in film canisters.
  7. You can copy and share your recorded music, you just cannot sell any. With Win Mix, as you are downloading songs, your PC is open for people to up load from you. That's sharing, and legal. Nice with Broadband!
  8. I wonder if I should rig a GPS up to my John Deere mower? The tracks might look cool on map source?
  9. 1NatureMom, look what happened when you left, Here is what happens when you do not stay on the trail.
  10. When we are out caching, Julie will always locate a dead carcass and want to roll in it. We have to constantly be on the look out for this, so it becomes a distraction.
  11. Geocaching is definitely great when the Wife is into it also. I don't think I would be caching if She wasn't. OK, now for my first Smiley,
  12. Well, he wanted room to stretch his legs... He needed more room to hide, so he wouldn't have to sign autographs!
  13. We did spend a few weeks, and took our time setting up containers before placing them. We are working on more containers now, but taking our time on them too. We also carry a ready to be placed, ammo box, if we happen to come across a good hiding location. I totaly agree on not rushing the cotainers, or locations.
  14. Welcome, to this great sport! The forums is a place, where you're keep in line, by the many Deputy's of the MOD. and you can get some great information too about Geocaching. One little slip, AND WHAM! you're put back into place!
  15. The tag/bug never left the owner? Anyway, there could be a time someday, that Gc.com will need a historian?
  16. Could it be a die error? Like a 3 looking like an 8?
  17. Could it be a die error? Like a 3 looking like an 8?
  18. Sorry to hear about everyone's losses. This has to be someone using gc.com to find and take!
  19. With a few cache-finds under our belts, and 7 cache placements, we are really enjoying, even more, going out, and looking for cache locations for placement. Without having a cache set up on the GPS to find, we are hitting the back roads and trails looking for that perfect spot the leave a cache. The Explorer (car) now has many new scratches to prove it, hope I can rub them out. I do hate it when you head down a trail, and realize you can't go any further, only to have to back up with no place to turn around. But somehow this is still fun! I guess the only draw back would be the land ownership research. Yesterday, we spent the day at a site, Bay Point Look Out where we have a cache now. The area is so nice, and we're glad we found it to share with other Geocachers. So what do you think? Is locating cache sites as much fun as finding them?
  20. The yellow text does not work well. Can I say one of my own? Bay Look Out Point We do not many caches under our belt, but knowing the area to work with, and caches found so far.
  21. Nice one! Well said! BTW, what meds are you taking?? LOL
  22. Orchid Culture. We hybridize select orchids and raise them in our lab. Hope to be doing some tissue culture (cloning) with orchids someday soon.
  23. I think fly's been working to hard. Hey fly, I hope you're new job is going well for you.
  24. They had that author on the NBC morning show, a while back now. The jewels sound neat how they were custom made. It is for a fact, that they are hidden, somewhere in the continental USA. They are placed like a multi cache, I think you have to find a hint first. I did look it up a while back. I would like to accentually find one while looking for a cache.
