Did you ever call him back to inform his as to the killer of JFK? If you did that maybe he'd calm down a bit, but maybe not. My Father usually carries his pistol with him while out in the woods for animals and now for these crazy freaks! Thanks for the interresting story. Wear a thin pair of gloves while reaching in for the cache. It may have animals or plants that may hurt you! I always bring an extra ziplock or two to put the log book in if it's bag is ripped. -KolarBear

People fear the GPS! But I just walk around and really don't care what they think becuase I am obviously MUCH cooler because I have a GPS! -KolarBear

I like to call it a "Digital Treasure Hunt" because a lot of old people are on the trails while I'm out and they are just too old to try and learn technology and I go on my way! -KolarBear

I think a nice cd of your favorite songs would be nice. Throw in a little music from Rocky and it'll pump ya up to get just about any cache! As for breaking copyright laws, I wouldn't just because it might tarnish geocaching. -KolarBear

Wow this is such a thrilling thread. On one hand I have a lot more finds than placed But everyday I check the site with some hope that one of my caches was found or my Travel Bugs were moved. I think that it goes for most that you love getting feedback from other cacher on your items I think that the amount you give to the sport always is the amount you recieve, if you hide a cache poorly and the feedback is short and boring, then you got nothing and the finder got nothing. I think after reading this, it makes me want to put a lot more effort into my logs and cache and even trades. -Kolarbear

Geocaching is in the snow is far easier. Unless the lay of the land is like uphill with ice. But the GPS brings you within a 40 ft radius so just put on some gloves and start looking. I think it is more fun even because you don't have to worry about bugs and ground foliage and other annoying pests. Later Days, KolarBear
