  1. Friday. Friday. Friday is almost here...
  2. So... I'm assuming that someone learned at the picnic when the site is coming back up...
  3. Hey Tom, I'm heading out to 29 Palms today, thought I'd do your EMPIRE cache on the way...
  4. You guys are experiencing so much pain you're seeing double (subtle reference to the other thread).
  5. Seriously! First I was all and then I was all and now I'mm all . When will it end?!
  6. If someone doesn't know how to quote now, they're never going to find a cache...
  7. I'm still liking the eTrex units, but I don't have 7000+ posts...
  8. I've always liked them and never understood others' problems with them.
  9. I've had the same problem. I've been steeling myself to return it to Garmin, but I haven't been able to get through to them on the phone today ("more than a 30 minute wait!") If they say it'll cost $125, I think I'll forget about it. Then I can concentrate on the black lines that appear and disappear across my screen!
  10. I've been using my Vista in -15C for the last week or so, and other than a slower reaction/response time, it's worked well and as normal...
  11. I agree. You want to go? Go. Whatever. Why do you feel the need to explain your actions to us?
  12. You know what the most amazing thing is to me? That something that started out so simply - hiding a Hot Wheels in a Tupperware box - has turned into a topic that can engender such emotion and, for that matter, thought. We live in a world where even the simple becomes complex, which is a shame.
  13. I'd try eBay. I just got a Canadian Mapsource package for a great price.
  14. We got pencils made up with "LARSTHORWALD FOUND YOUR CACHE." People seem to like them...
  15. I'd go for one you can download maps into. The Vista works well for us. Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
  16. Yeah, the WAP site the DID exist was useless. It gave nothing but coordinates - no description of the cache at all. It went away fast. Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
  17. 3.50 is up on the Garmin site now. Changes made from version 3.40 to 3.50: Fixed potential memory corruption problem that could occur when tracking more than one WAAS satellite simultaneously. Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
  18. I like it. It and the new black hat are quite stylish, for my tastes. Which run to the anti-frog side of things... Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
  19. quote:Originally posted by Sissy-n-CR: ...and remember that the one's protest the most are probably the one's that need it the most. CR http://img.Groundspeak.com/user/72057_2000.gif Good point! Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
  20. Good news. And now it sounds like some family therapy is in order. Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
  21. Yeah, it's all good. Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
  22. Nice plane. But about those maps... Charlie "One should never begin a journey by heading in the wrong direction."
