  1. Bring back GPX-files! Using GSAK or other tools for generating statisics, working with ALCs is a real PITA. After e.g. a holiday and playing some 20 or 30 ALCs, you have to do a lot of post processing if you want to have ALCs in your statistics. So please bring back GPX-files. This would help a lot.
  2. I know. But it is really uncomfortable. Anyway, it were just my 2 cents on this topic. I personally like the idea of having everything in one place and not using an app for this and another app for that. That's why I use GSAK.
  3. That's it. I actually am close to milestones (next 100 finds) mostly when I am visiting mega events. I do all my geocaching logging/statistic stuff in GSAK and without logging in the right order, I have to manually adjust the milestones. It messes up your data. Perhaps I am a bit "monkish" (like Adrian, not like the religious guys). At the moment, I tend to use option 3 or 4.
  4. For me, it's not about cheating, it's about having my finds in the right order. I usually find lab caches when I'm visiting a mega or giga event. This means, I am on vacation for a weekend or longer, sometimes more than a week. After getting back home, I load my field notes into GSAK, add the GPX of the lab caches and log all my finds in the right order. In the future - if the adventure lab cache thing is going to be like it is planned - I have 4 options: 1. Log every cache instantly in field (COs just love those "More later"-logs - NOT!), log labcaches when playing them, edit every log at home (which costs way more time). 2. Forget about the right order of finds, mess up my statistics and log the lab caches before logging the rest at home. 3. Forget about lab caches. 4. GPS spoofing and log like I normally log. Perhaps it is possible, to add some sort of field note in the app, which checks your GPS and only safes a find, if you are at the right coordinates. It would be getting a lot harder for people who just want to log caches in their regular way. On cache after the other in the right order. I should be forced to change that, just because a few are cheating?
  5. Is it just me? The small maps on the listing pages won't show any cache icons, if the cache has another waypoint (e.g. cache and parking).
  6. Nope, there is not (see screenshot). I had this weird problem yesterday: I click on a link in whatsapp. Safari opens, loads the cache page. The app opens, loads the cache. I click on the 3 dots, choose "open in browser". Safari opens, loads the cache page. And then: The app opens, loads the cache... Today "Open in browser" seems to work again. There was a time, when I could choose, if links to caches open in Safari or in the app. Please return to this option. This only affects links to geocaching.com/geocache/GC* and coord.info. Links to geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC* work as expected and open in Safari.
  7. Great, thanks! I have been to Stalag III some years ago. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC21HCH_stalag-iii
  8. Hi, you can stop on https://coord.info/GC2Q7PD and than walk to https://coord.info/GC6YD4Y, https://coord.info/GC66RQH, https://coord.info/GC5BBQ3 More https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Annaberg Thank you! I had St. Annaberg on the list because of the earth caches. Thanks for showing me, that there is "more"
  9. Riese is definately on my bucket list, but not on this trip. It's just "driving home" and there isn't enough time.
  10. Sorry for writing this in English, but my Polish is near to non existant After the giga in September, I want to stay 2 days in Poland and then drive from Oświęcim to Görlitz/Zgorzelec. I am searching historical caches near this route (let's say 5 km left and right of A4), mainly 2nd World War. E. g. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4TVWB_gliwicka-provokace-31-8-1939 I don't care if its nano or large, as long as it shows me some historical place. TIA Mark

  12. Apart from beeing pi...^^not so happy that (for me) essential tools such as GCTour don't work anymore: Why is there a huge whitespace between "Status:" and "Last Visit:" on my profile page (Firefox 36)? And: Wouldn't it be much better to first solve the speed problems and then work on the design?
  13. It totally scks on mobile devices (iPhone). I have to zoom everytime I want to read one of these emails. Why don't you offer HTML _and_ plaintext emails and let the user choose? The new system is a nice try, but it's not needed and it destroys more than it should.
  14. Sure, that's okay. But don't add it "half". I now have one find more, but can't handle it. The only thing I (perhaps) could do to "correct" my statistics, is deleting the lab-find.
  15. So why don't they finish coding it, before adding it to the website?
  16. Seems like this is not thought-out well. I can publish a lab cache (does not affect my stats). I can find a lab cache (does affect my stats). So, okay, now I have one found lab cache. My find-counter increased but I can not add it to e.g. GSAK. Is it planned to offer a GPX download for lab caches or add them to the myfinds-PQ? What happens, if I delete my find of this lab cache?
  17. Seems like "today" wasn't monday There are still images missing (404).
  18. It was on Facebook. Until they couldn't stand the feedback anymore and deleted the post.
  19. Oh, nice: If I want to change my payment details (e.g. a different credit card), I first have to choose what to buy (which is stated in Euros). Why? I only want to change the payment details of my recurring membership. Which is, believing, what Moun10bike wrote, charged in Dollars. Answers?
  20. So, I will pay $30/year until the end of days?
  21. Bank fees? Let me see: I can pay via credit card or via Paypal. Receiving money via Paypal costs the same, no matter where the money comes from. Paying via CC doesn't cost any bank fees. The Dollar amount will be converted into and charged in "home" currency. That's all. And: Which European country charges 30% VAT? BTW: It seems not to have any VAT outside of EU. Strange, isn't it?
