Look in the preferences (under Edit) and see if MapSource will allow you to reduce the detail. I'm not sure if this will help, but it is an option in the Topo program. Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son!

I consider my PDA as a memory upgrade for me. I am beginning to suffer from CRS and it takes care of all that stuff so I don't have to. I love the idea of a PDA room, but I can't remember why Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son!

I bought my Garmin eTrex and then later an eMap off of eBay. You need to be a little more careful when you bid, but there are some super deals to be had if you are patient. I would recommend using PayPal and/or a credit card for a big ticket purchase--this gives some additional recourse if the purchase goes bad (which is the exception rather than the rule!) Do your homework so that you know the retail prices of the units that appeal to you. Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son!

I think this needs to be submitted to Jeremy for resolution. I'm sure that there is another side to the story, but as the info has been posted, there certainly is a grievable situation. I would guess that all the I Hate I-5 caches are dangerous! The last time I was on I-5 the slow motor homes were running along about 70--the fast stuff was going so fast it was a blur; never mind that the traffic was bumper-to-bumper! Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son!
