  1. I find that large doses of pickled eggs and beer are more effective for turning the anti-flatulence mode off... Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son!
  2. Perhaps the "urinary ban" explains DisQuoi's moose's surly attitude? Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son! [This message was edited by ChazC on May 23, 2002 at 06:07 PM.]

  4. I like to mark the cache from four different directions. After I have four readings I will average the readings, by hand, and then use the new average to re-find the cache. Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

  7. I like the idea of adopting "orphaned" caches. There needs to be some system in place for determining the orphan status of the cache. Society is so mobile, today, that adoption may be a viable alternative! Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

    GPS Units

I started out with the original e-trex, which is a great unit. It is compact and inexpensive. I later upgraded to the e-map. It has some mapping features and is still nicely compact. After you have checked out your local stores and the online sites (to determine what pricing should be) check out e-Bay. Lots to look at!
  9. I have to agree that MOB are probably impractical. I kind of like the idea but if they are placed in an MOC then non-members won't get a chance at them and if the are in "general" caches then there is no prevention of pipck-up by non-members.
