I'm using the Ram windshield mount and have found the only problem to be that in the summer the air gets hot under the suction cup and it falls off the windshield. Hooking the lanyard over the rear-view mirror helps prevent tragedy. All-in-all, still the best option that I've found! Children today are tyrants. I agree with the mount (factory, homemade, whatever). Another nice accessory is mapping software. I really like the MapSource Topo (Garmin's topo software). It adds some functionality to the basemaps. It also means that you probably want a computer-to-GPSr cable. Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son!

I have an elm walking stick that is nice because it is light weight, tough, and really cheap. The replacement will be apple, as soon as it cures a while. I love finding someone trimming trees!
