  1. I took a trip out to Arizona from New York last month and found about 61 caches. I first heard about this when I received notification that a TB I dropped was in a cache now archived and that I should report it missing. I took a look at my "found" list which covered Phoenix, Sierra Vista and Tucson. What a shame, since I didn't go anywhere on the "wrong" side of a fence for any of them. My found list now has more red than an episode of Game of Thrones!! What a massacre!
  2. I very rarely take anything from caches but I have always enjoyed leaving things. When one CO reported that he had forgotten to bring along swag for an ammo he had just placed, I went to find the cache and filled it for him. I've only placed 2 caches of my own, so bringing along some decent swag is just my way of thanking those who take the time to places caches for me to find.
  3. Hmmm...as to the topic...I almost always take the time to post something personal about finding a cache. I have a little notebook where I scribble two or three "keywords" under the GC code that will (or is it which will?) remind me when I post my find which one I stepped into ankle-deep mud finding or which one I met a friendly muggle nearby or how nice was the day. I see it as a simple courtesy to the person who took the time to place the cache in the first place. I also enjoy glancing at the previous logs before I set out, and must admit I find TFTC not very scintillating reading, but I just do my thing.
