  1. I think that "someone" made a good deal These collectors editions appearing on eplace are at special discount, simply because there arn't that many complete sets out there. There will be a few more available over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes open if you're interested in these coins. Another complete set is available if any collectors are interested, it might be another three years before they're available again.
  2. Yes, a few coins made it to Holland.
  3. SJ, you should really advertise your complete coin set in this thread - Here Shamelessly hijacking active threads is considered bad netiquette by the New World Order Please edit your post. - MC
  4. I fully support this auction, it's a worthy cause so please bid generously.
  5. Hi Monkeymox, if you go to post #90 in this thread there's a link for the forum user address book thread, it's by invitation only so you'll need to post over there.
  6. OMG!!! This is GORGEOUS!!!! I'm rather wishing that I wasn't one of the first selected (tho I do love my copper...). Totaly green eyed jealous of anyone selected to receive one of these. GORGEOUS!!! CF30 Tell you what CF, if you gift your treasured NWO Copper to someone who needs a little boost in this forum (and there are a few), I'll allow you to trade up to the Two-Tone Nickel on Copper. (This is a one time offer to CF30, so no emails please folks) - MC If someone will help me out I would like to auction my NWO Antique Copper to help somehow the people of New Zealand in their time of need. I have bought from E-Bay but never sold or auctioned for a cause there.. Can someone help set up such an auction? CF30 WOW!!! An even better offer. MC, I totally mean it. If you set up the auction, I will mail the coin to the highest bidder. I betting that Keewee or other New Zealand cachers can direct us to an appropriate charity or relief fund. CF30 A very worthy cause CF, but I did say 'gift'. Find someone in the forum to gift your coin to and I'll place a complete New World Order 7 geocoin collectors edition on auction over at the eplace, just for your NZ Earthquake fund. How does that sound? - MC Sounds like a Win, Win, Win situation. Someone in this forum gets an NWO Antique Copper, CF30 gets a New World Order 7 geocoin collectors edition, and the earthquake victims get whatever one will fetch on the eplace. Nearly right, if CF donates her NWO Copper to someone on the forum she'll receives an XLE Nickel on Copper to replace it. As for the relief fund auction, I'm just supplying the goods. CF gets all the credit for the idea, the auction and the donation. - MC Oh WOW guys!!! That is an absolutely fantastic gesture!!!!! Thank you both very, very much!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! There are a number of appeals for the Christchurch Earthquake, but the New Zealand Red Cross's appeal is the main one (see my sig). Best part of it is that the NZ Red Cross are not taking any fees out of what is donated - 100% of what is donated goes to the cause! We had yet another good aftershock this evening. This on top of the regular smaller aftershock! Joy, Oh, Joy. (Sorry for being slow to respond in here - I'd missed seeing updates on here at the time) Hi Keewee, I was waiting for CF to get back to me in relation to this auction. She's probably busy, but when she does I'll put it up on the eplace.
  7. Nice idea, except that version is Nickel on Copper. (my apologies for the dark photographs) They look *much* better than the two images I posted. I can hardly wait to see this! and no, it won't be sold! I haven't forgotten Lara, only two geocoins have been posted out so far.

  9. Hi, would you kindly edit your post and remove the image please as it has nothing at all to do with the NWO thread, thanks in advance. - MC
  10. Hi CF, it's entirely up to you if you tell them, although suprises are more fun. On another note, would you like to knock the auction text together CF? I'll get the geocoin photographs sorted out and we can start the auction up this weekend (Saturday). No rush, you can PM the text when you're ready. - MC

  14. Is this the mystery - MC
  15. Now that would be telling, wouldn't it?
  16. For future reference, this is the NWO XLE two-tone 'Nickel on Copper' version - Only 25 Minted. As before.. Diameter: 2 inches Thickness: 5mm Base Metal: Copper Unique Icon: Yes, trackable. Only a very limited number of these XLEs will be sent out to those who expressed interest by posting in this thread. So, I'll be choosing a few random posts next weekend... Are you feeling lucky? One XLE geocoin is reserved for RedShoesGirl, she donated her own NWO mystery coin to a fellow cacher who in only a few months has clocked up an impressive 14,273 miles on his NWO coin. Inlay Card: Some of you may be familiar with the NWO inlay card which accompanies each coin, the back of each card has a unique seven digit authentication number printed on a holographic sticker, the XLE inlay card is a little different, each card has a large holographic Eagle stuck over the authentication number. Finally, as this is a Limited Edition mystery geocoin, I've requested that the NWO dies be destroyed/recycled. - MC
  17. A few more of my Tranquilities are now up on auction over at the eplace, auction ends this weekend. Two Tranquilities in particular may interest a few collectors here, so here are the auction links. Tranquility - Antique Nickel LE Tranquility - Copper AE (Only 30 Minted) Tranquility - Dark (Gold) Tranquility - Dark (Rhodium) Tranquility - Green Giant (Gold) Tranquility - Green Giant (Nickel) Tranquility - German (Gold) Tranquility - German (Nickel) Good Luck!
  18. What's different is that you posted and featured them here in the forums under a sock puppet account... just sayin' If you're so concerned about my post, instead of spouting why don't you contact a moderator? I'd be more than willing to point them to my full members account. You obviously doubt my integrity Avroair, so here are the Tranquilities I'm selling over on eBay over the next few weeks. Huh??? You're getting bent out of shape over the consequences of your own actions. If you want to create a mystery profile for stirring up interest in a coin of your making is one thing but to sell a collection of recently received coins (nice blue box, btw in the Mailbox thread) under that same mystery profile is a bit silly .... IMO. 2+2≠5, the post you are refering to in the mailbox thread has nothing at all to do with me Droo. Anyway, this thread is for auctioning off my geocoins, so could we get back on topic please?

  20. Translated: You mean sell them for more money. If I'd set up a website to sell Tranquilities and attached a ridiculous fixed price tag to each one that statement would probably be true Avroair, however.. auctions are hit and miss. And anyway, you've got no idea what I originally paid for them. I don't understand why auctioning these coins is any different to the hundreds of other auctions going on over at the eplace. Doing it this way gives every collector who's interested a chance to grab one for their collection. What is this anyway... Poke Mysterycoins with a stick week?
  21. sigh ... Poor Lara... being taunted by mysterycoins... That's OK - Lara doesn't need food... or maybe we could start a food drive to help out. Back to the topic at hand, I really must go and have a look at these auctions... probably out of my price range already... It's not intentional keewee I assure you, taunting os not in my nature. I can only imagine how much Lara regrets letting her set go, but there is a very good reason for these auctions. We never really own a Tranquility, we just treasure them for the next generation of geocoin collectors to enjoy.
  22. A few more of my Tranquility geocoins are on auction over at the eplace, so if you missed out on last weeks auction here's another chance to grab one of these beauties. Details and links below. Tranquility - Red Passion Tranquility - Gold on Nickel (Two-Tone) Tranquility - Black Widow (Gold) Tranquility - Black Widow (Nickel) Tranquility - Glowing Blue Heaven Tranquility - Purple Haze (Gold) Tranquility - Purple Haze (Nickel) Tranquility - Glowing Rose (Black Nickel) Good Luck!
  23. That would be the 'Purple Haze' in Nickel, very nice. Thanks for that. Any idea how many were made and it's collectibility? I haven't managed to dig up any minting info on the Purple Haze unfortunately. Collectibility? Show me one that isn't collectible
  24. That would be the 'Purple Haze' in Nickel, very nice.
  25. > Received this in my mailbox yesterday, thanks for the trade Tempusfragilis! - MC
