  1. I have been told deleting GPX files from Oregon will remove the found caches from the found list. This only works sometimes for me, leaving lots of old found caches on the found list. That makes it very difficult to find newly found caches to log online. I usually have to follow my track on the map to see what I had just found and it is easy to miss a cache. Why not have a delete found caches command? I still have to use my old iQue 3600 because it can delete all or individual found caches.
  2. Is there a way to search for caches that have never been found?
  3. I would like to get more than five logs with pocket queries. Many times a past finder will post their coordinates for the cache, or there will be some other information in the logs that helped me locate the cache.
  4. Anyone using the Foris? Sales pitch makes it sound like just what I need, but would like to get geocacher and biker Foris user reviews.
  5. I have the catagories figured out, but what is wayQue supposed to do? I can't get it to do anything.
  6. I'll give wayQue a try, and try to figure out the catagory thing. I don't recall seeing any choice on catagories in address book or cachemate.
  7. I have an iQue 3600 with CacheMate installed. I downloaded a Pocket Query from geocaching.com, opened it in GSAK and sent it to CacheMate on the iQue, and sent it to the address book, and everything worked great. The problem happened the next time I did this with the latest Pocket Query. Everything was fine until I sent it from CacheMate to the address book. All the caches from the original P.Q. that matched the caches on the newer P.Q. were duplicated in the address book. How do I get rid of the nearly 500 duplicates, other than deleting them one at a time? How do I prevent it from happening again? Thanks, Riversurfer
  8. The new google maps suck. No useful information and all you get is an empty box at the bottom when you print the page. Any way to get the old maps back?
  9. I can no longer change the text size. I have the browser set to largest text but it does not make a difference. It is really difficult to read the tiny text I get on Geocaching web pages now.
  10. I had several replies and decided to team up with the first to reply. If you would still like to do it, there are others looking for a Texas partner for this cache. You could post a note on the cache page, http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...87-4a8c1354eae0 or on the Miami Valley Geocachers forum. http://www.miamivalleygeocaching.com/phpbb/ I am trying to reply to those that emailed, but am having problems with sent email being returned. Thank you Riversurfer
  11. Ft. Worth TX geocacher wanted to team up with to find Ohitexo (GCQ7C5), a multi state multi cache. I have stage one in Ohio. Stage two is in Ft. Worth, Texas. Final stage is in Ohio. If you want to team up, I will send you coordinates for second stage, then you send me coordinates for third stage when you find second stage, and we both get credit for the find. My email is: joe-jackson@juno.com. Cache details at: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...87-4a8c1354eae0 Riversurfer
  12. I'll call Garmin tomorrow and see. Thanks for all of your replies. Riversurfer
  13. The rubber perimeter cover of my Etrex Legend has torn at the data port and I am looking for a place to buy a replacement. The Garmin site has no information on replacement parts, but will "remanufacture" my unit for $99 plus $25 shipping. Where can I find parts? Thanks. Riversurfer
  14. Thanks for pointing it out. I searched for more than an hour without finding the info I wanted.
  15. Can Mapsource Topo map data be installed on harddrive so the CDs are not needed?
