  1. *found on MiGO forums* "Well Saturday Ali KAt hit 500 on a caching two state trip. She has really been pushing us to so that she could get the 500 hundred milestone. She always wakes us up at 7 am on the weekends wanting to go caching and pushes us to dark and if we stop to long she throws a fit and to make things worse she makes us drive her all over and she takes naps on the way to caches when we cant. Now she is already starting on her next goal of 1000 by the time she turns two. " Wulf

  4. Depends who you ask. Groundspeak defines it as Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. We'd go no matter what they called the event<g> Wulf

  6. Since we paid the place a visit this past weekend we thought we would tell the rest of you how it went . It was FANTASTIC , the exhibit itself is fun and very hands on . So when it comes to a place near you I highly reccomend the trip to see it ! We would like to thank Groundspeak , and everyone involved for bringing this great Exhibit to everyone ! Here is the link to the Exhibit :GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit When you complete the maze you even get a new icon . They also had an event for geocachers as well as the grand opening of the maze , Jeremy , Shauna , and Bryan of Groundspeak attended. To view logs for the event itself just click the next nearest to the Maze Exhibit. Star
  7. Bixler Lake Campground Wulf
  8. With over 500 Indiana Spirit Quest caches, we'll have a bunch of busy cachers. Free parking is available and you really get a chance to enjoy the beauty of the state. Wulf
  9. Sure looks like that feature is gone . I must also say I miss the mouse over feature on looking at the pictures posted in logs . Apparently in the recent transitions we also lost the picture and html on one of our earthcaches ... our other caches survived in tact though ! Star
  10. Man Injured by Toppled Tombstone Charged Any ISQ's there? Wulf
  11. How ya gonna do that if you are gonna go to the spring picnic ?????? Star
  12. Does anyone know for sure how many cache reviewers there are now in the great state of INDIANA ? It is getting to be a bit confusing .... and I think we even have aquired some "cache cops" as well . Star
  13. Not sure how many of you are aware of this event .. but I truely hope to see a lot of you there!! Seems the Elkhart County Parks like us so much they are putting on an event for Geocachers in INDIANA !! They are even gonna supply the hot dogs and fixin's ! Let's all show some support for Ranger Kim and the Elkhart County Parks Dept. !! Ox Bow Meet Greet and Eat !!! Star
  14. Exactally !!! Plus I like to keep track of our own personal numbers ... not that they matter much to anyone but us . It give us some sense of a personal challange to see if we can better our finds each year or at least keep the same averages from year to year . Numbers are tracked everywhere in our society , for many different reasons . I for one would miss the numbers . (what if we stopped keeping score at sporting events , NASCAR races , hours worked , how many times a DR performed open heart surgery :imigine how you would feel if you were the Dr.'s first : etc...... ) Numbers do matter for many many various reasons, throughout everyones lives. 15. It really is exhausting being a weiner cacher in INDIANA !! (taken after the BAGO Bash ). Star
  16. It's September 1, 2007 and will be a CITO event, place to be determined... Oh, well, I was hoping it was sooner. Wulf
  17. Hey Rick! When's the BAGO Bash? I wanna come and share a beer with you bro. Wulf
  18. Welcome to the Grand illusion Come on in and see what's happening Pay the price, get your tickets for the show The stage is set, the band starts playing Suddenly your heart is pounding Wishing secretly you were a star. But don't be fooled by the radio The TV or the magazines They show you photographs of how your life should be But they're just someone else's fantasy So if you think your life is complete confusion Because you never win the game Just remember that it's a Grand illusion And deep inside we're all the same. We're all the same... So if you think your life is complete confusion Because your neighbors got it made Just remember that it's a Grand illusion And deep inside we're all the same. We're all the same... America spells competition, join us in our blind ambition Get yourself a brand new motor car Someday soon we'll stop to ponder what on Earth's this spell we're under We made the grade and still we wonder who the hell we are This should be the unofficial Theme song for this years BAGO Bash !! Star
  19. Sadly this Canadian will be not be able to enjoy all that lovely near-beer. I'll be helping teach new cachers how to track and identify beer in the wild. I feel it's my duty as a veteran cachers to pass along these valuable skills to others. I know that Indiana cachers are already skilled at this since we've never been bother by wild beer while caching there. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Illinoise. Wulf
  20. Part that scares me is that Rick might really have one of those suits. Wulf
