  1. We just had a great time last night at a cache that was posted yesterday and I think it may have started something with our area... FlashMob Geocaching... The cache description stated the best time to get this cache was between the hours of 9:56pm and 10:16pm so all the local FTF fanatics were chatting about when to go and the next thing you know we had a mob show up at the cache at 9:55pm... The cache which became a FlashMob Geocache
  2. I don't see it as being a privacy issue. If it was stated in the site user agreement that the list of cache watchers was viewable then it would cover the privacy issue. Just like a business has to state they have video cameras... This agreement would solve two problems if these are problems to begin with. 1. If someone on the list is in fact stealing the caches then they would not want to be on the cache watchers list to begin with. 2. Users will know they can be seen when watching a cache and have the option whether to watch it or not.
  3. Not really a GPS but my Touch Pro 2 from T-Mobile will do turn by turn navigation with its built in TeleNav application. I also use it with a free app called GCzII for geocaching. I really like this phone, it does all those things Apple is claiming only the Iphone does and more! I guess that is why Apple is suing HTC over this phone...
  4. I have the HTC Touch Pro 2 through T-Mobile and have found 19 caches in about a week of off and on caching for about an hour a day. I use the GCzII app that I downloaded for free and it allows you to go completely paperless and even PC free. There is an add-on app that completes this software package and you can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=566780 The xda-developers website is an awesome resource for anyone who wants to tweak their phones. The only drawback I have experienced with the phone is delays with the screen updating. This is probably due to all the other apps I have installed including my email.
  5. I am new to geocaching but not to technology... I have a pocket PC phone from T-Mobile which has built in Assisted GPS which works as long as you have a signal to a cell tower that I have been using for geocaching. I downloaded an application called GCzII which I have been using for a couple days with great success.
