  1. Is there a way to turn a PQ or bookmark list into a KLM so I can filter out all of the other caches everytime I load GE?
  2. I will be in Wichita this weekend and will have some time for caching. Are there any shouldn't miss caches in the area?
  3. I too found numerous caches in the area with DRR on them. At first we, NEONCACHER and I, thought it was someone's way of verifying caches before the event, but learned otherwise as I was logging caches. I agree that this is in poor taste, but since I don't have any hides yet, I can't really say how I would deal with it as an owner. For this reason, and another OT reason, I will personally discount this record.
  4. Step it up a bit. Make this stage one of a multi. Call it 3 Wise Men
  5. I'm a Communications Shift Supervisor and Paramedic for the largest EMS provider in Oklahoma.
  6. It's about the smileys....oh wait wrong topic. For me it's about getting outdoors and personal challenges. There are as many ways to challenge youself as there are caches: The race for a FTF. That 5/5 that will test your skills and nerve. Going for person bests such as most finds in a day or month.
  7. I'd consider buying a round for the b-day boy.
  8. I will be making the trip from Oaklahoma, , about 350 miles each way.
  9. That's quite a side jump, but it sounds like an interesting road trip. See you there.
  10. How about putting your handle, FTF and cache name . Then you could give the finder the option of a quote or avitar?
  11. The user's manual was useless on the subjet. This worked when I finally got to the coorect screen. Thanks to all for the help. ...closing thread...
  12. Yes. I just can't seem to get found ones from that PQ to go away. I have been deleting them one at a time and that's getting old. At this point I'm ready to try to wipe the memory out if I can't find a better solution.
  13. How can I delete multiple waypoints from my GPS? I loaded a PQ with found caches in it when my brother came to town so he could search for them. I have loaded other PQ's but my previous finds keep showing up from that one. Do I need to load a 500 waypoint PQ to clear those out?
  14. Just the other day I told my brother, Neoncache, that I was going to have to stop buying coins or I would go broke. However I can't pass up one for such a good cause, count me in for 2 or 3. Will there be a seperate area on the ordering page for additional donations?
  15. I vote for tracking. This coin is different enough that it needs tracking and an icon. I'm still in for 2, maybe 3.
  16. Great coin. I don't have a preference about tacking, but I would certainly buy a few for my newly started coin collection.
  17. OK. I'm a bonehead. I just discovered that I entered 2 numbers incorrectly. I'm going to close this thread now.
  18. I tried that and it keeps pulling the wrong map.
  19. I mistyped a coord when entering waypoint WM5R7 and pulled an incorrect map. Is there any way to change this?
  20. My 1st 100 finds were done this way. I had an older GPS that only carried 2 decimal points so it wasn't much use for caching. I started using UTM early on and just waited for the meters to tick down. It wasn't to difficult for single point caches, but multies were impossible on a single visit. And even with my PDA loaded with PQ's I had to spend time coverting the coords over to UTM before I could go hunt. That wasn't fun. That has changed however, my brother got me an Etrex Legend for our birthday on Monday. We went out on Tuesday and found 37. Being able to load my new GPS with waypoints and using the find nearest feature made it sooooooo much easier. That and I was finally able to find a multi that was a long iron from my house that had been nagging me for over a year. Thank you Neoncacher for the new toy.
  21. "I was standing on a corner down in Winslow, Arizona." Pick a corner, any corner. How about a category for places immortalized in lyrics?
