Work out what you want to do with the GPS and then check out what unit can do it. I use mine for mountaineering, sailing, in the car and geocashing from time to time.

That bit of kit is massive!

Do you wear gloves? If you do check that you can do what you need to do with them on. I'm a mountaineer and a touch screen won't work for me in winter.

I find the barometric altimeter really useful in weather forecasting when on a long trip, but we do have a lot of weather in Scotland.

Hi All I have a six year old GPSMap60CSx that has developed a "niggle" when I change from an external power source to the batteries it will not switch on unless I remove then replace one battery. Has anybody else suffered from this and do you know of a fix? Regards

Hi I need some clarification on the meaning of the "collectable" on a Travel Bugs page? Does it mean you can keep it or just collect it from a cache?
