Your unit should have come with a copy of MapSource which will be out of date but can be updated. Are you looking for maps that can be "routed" (e.g., you specify an address destination)? If so, you'll need to get those from Garmin for $. If topo maps with the streets showing (but not turn by turn directions) are enough, then I'd download them from www.gpsfiledepot.com and use MapSource to load them. When I downloaded the mapsource update from garmin, after starting the web software update, I pressed "Next" but then it says it can't find previous Mapsource. But its on the computer! What should I do? Also I downloaded NW Trails map but it's name doesn't show in the Maps box on mapsource.

I cut six layers of green tissue paper shaped like Signal. Then I stuffed it with tissues while taping the edges. I made a paper tube with my username on it and taped the thing on to the tube.

Today I made a Signature Item. Do you like it? I will be leaving it in caches I will found! I have a question about them. If another cacher leaves a signature item, can I take it without leaving anything but my own, or their item is part of a cache?

You can change it. Go to the cache description and look for your log. once you find it, on your left hand side click View / Edit Logs / Images. Under View Geocache Log click the edit button. then you can change both the log and log type. Finally, click submit log entry button at the bottom of the page and you're done. I hope this helps. I've found 27 caches and hidden one. But the 2 closest unfound caches as the crow flies to my house are less than half mile away. edit for clarity

While trying to find Part Way There,we found at least 10 soda containers, and a small elecricity box. Fortunatly, the cache desription said it was a rubbermaid container.
