Hoe definieer je 'de beschrijving is goed'? Ik bedoelde dus te zeggen dat een cache toch bedoeld zou moeten zijn om je iets te laten zien. En dan is het wel fijn als de omschrijving je vertelt wat voor leuks/moois je hier gaat tegenkomen.

Overigens wil ik dan wel nog toevoegen dat het wel een pluspuntje is dat er een paar omgevingsfoto's staan, zodat je je wellicht kan voorstellen waarom je deze plek zou willen bezoeken. Er zijn meer dan genoeg tradi's waar dat niet gedaan wordt.

Barny toch, allemaal weer gevaarlijke aannames... vooralsnog is het alleen maar waarschijnlijk dat het een tradi wordt...

Ik neem aan dat er wel een naam op staat? zo ja, stuur anders even een berichtje naar die persoon. En laat vooral even weten wat er uit gekomen is...

No, only english That doesn't make sense. It's a GLOBAL thing you said. There are more people speaking Chinese natively. There are as many people native Spanish as English. Furthermore: the latest release notes mentioned stuff about internationalization, so soon the website will be multi-lingual as well. Isn't it a bit self-centered to say that everything must include English?

Volgens mij is dat een globale setting. Kan helaas niet meer voor jekijken in de admin sections van IPB, dus kan het niet met zekerheid zeggen. Maar ik zie in elk geval geen opties daarvoor.

Een optie is boven in My Assistant, dan Recent PM's, dan My Inbox. Dan heb je al weer je normale control panel

Klopt, en al ging het me niet alleen om het negeren... het schoont wel op als je wat kan ruimen. Al is het maar het zoeken naar het begin en einde van reacties die je niet boeien. Maar goed, dat de vraag was of die mogelijkheden er waren :-) Niet of je het wilt gebruiken.

Weet iemand waar de opties gebleven zijn die je normaal op een forum hebt? Om maar eens iets te noemen: bij andere fora met IPB als software heb je de mogelijkheid om o.a. bij de gegevens van een gebruiker te kiezen voor de optie "negeer" om geen posts te lezen van die persoon. Aangezien dat hier is aangepast naar het geocaching profiel mis je die optie. Misschien moet ik even op zoek naar de url zoals die op andere fora gebruikt wordt en die hier proberen toe te passen, maar het is jammer dat dat soort dingen zo moeilijk moet zijn

They are supposed to. My local one does. If there are any near you that require installing some untrusted program, I would contact your local reviewer. I kind of gave up on that. Quite useless.

At what point can you finally say that a balance is going to be disturbed? Anyway... Wouldn't it be an idea to make a powertrail attribute for the poor souls in that area. Eeh, sorry for those who so much like powertrails and want to be able to find it? It might make PQ'ing (around) a powertrail a lot easier

Do reviewers even check that? I've seen caches that are really just saying "download this software from my site and do this this and this to find what you need to calculate the cache". Not to mention the various steganography caches which basically do the same kind of stuff.

Yeah, geocaching is really becoming more and more challenging. This will do so much for proving what a wonderful passtime geocaching is. Oh well, good thing it is still possible to find real caches in between this stuff,and I'm so happy I don't live in that area.

And why English? Why not make Spanish or Chinese a "must have" language? Here in the Netherlands it would make more sense to have German translations. But some caches are English only, or English and Dutch, or German and Dutch. Most of the time a friendly request to either the owner or even a local forum will help quite a lot.

Is it just me wondering what the trouble is? I'd worry about musquito's, ticks etc perhaps. But with such splinters in my leg, I guess getting them out would be priority. The person coming around the corner would see the problem, or I can simply explain it. No big deal.

an earth cache in the port area of pireas :-) that would be a challenge to come up with. there is a traditional there, shouldn't take more than half an hour on foot to get there, if my estimate of the port area is correct.

if you go to 'trackable items' and then to 'geocoin home', you will see it for coins. I don't think it's available for travelbugs
