  2. Speaking of burried, this puppy was about 1 metre down covered in mud, moss and rocks. We located it via a metal detector. GCQ2Q5 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...=y&decrypt= Misha
  3. So we are mostly skeemers, cool! Please look at this cache GCNXC8 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...8d-5728581a576a, GCV3DJ http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...22-9102f58c39ca, GC102XH http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...bf-8576d54d4ff9 Misha
  4. Any help is appreciated. Below I attached the associated code, that I copied. If I click on it it takes me to a city, specifically a university in The State of Washington. 7. Looking to add that active image to a signature. Misha http://img.geocaching.com/stats/img.aspx?t...b6-598bbeaeace1
  8. If you're holding the micro in your hands, have no writing implements, are you going to run around to find one? The point is to find what is hidden, logging a single name on a sheet is silly when the main logs are done online for the most part... here at least.. especially when there are killer skiters trying to carry you away into the swamps In any event, I'm done with this thread and heading back to the MGA... Misha will still more then likely respond with one liners to my last post which I expect, but I don't really care anymore... he's souring things for me and I'm not really in the mood to let that happen... no sence in me getting pissed off and wasting energy at others I don't know... Especially at the call and cause of someone like him who I'm not even going to name anymore The caches I am questioning had pencils and or pens, Funky I only have about 10 of more than 60 hides without a pen
  9. My caches are normal for around here, but did he sign them NO, so did he actually find the container? Or did he drive up decide it must be there and loose interest and not log the cache. Signing the log sheet is proof that a cacher did find the cache. My worst is the FN series (FunkyNassau) which are styled after his lame caches. They are 35mm cans with only a log sheet. Funky does many of these. Misha I have only deleted 3 of his finds, I will only delete those that I can verify he has not signed, the rest will stand as logged.
  10. I have a problem there is a cacher in Moncton. NB, Canada who is logging caches that they haven't signed. It's not a few missed it is systemic. Do I allow this person to keep their log or not. I have talked to the cacher with no positive results. He suggested that the caches were "Garbage" and not worth signing. There was no evidence that he was at the cache at all. Misha
  11. Hi How does a cacher satisfy this request? My sensor can’t hold all the midpoints of previously completed caches, I definitely don't have the any other than the start points for multys, and as for puzzles the importance of their posted coords baffles me. OK! I see that we don’t want to find several caches in one search, but what we are using are placement guidelines, not rules. In my opinion mid points should be insignificant, many of these are collecting info and not seeking a cache too! I feel that CA sees everything in black and white, and no gray. Misha Ps how does one become a reviewer? ****************************************************************************** This is an automated message from Geocaching.com You are receiving this email because you are the owner of this listing. Location: New Brunswick, Canada cache agent posted a reviewer note for River-View 2 (Not Published) (Traditional Cache) at 5/10/2006 Log Date: 5/10/2006 Misha, Your cache is close to a middle waypoint that you help place on a multi cache. Please be more careful next time. Thank you, Cache Agent Volunteer Cache Reviewer
  12. Laminating current notes, yes, but discontinued ones I wouldn't think so. Misha
  13. The Tooney Bug can be found in Galway Bay - "Rock 'n' Roll" by CraigsBar Its been there for more than 2 months If anyone has a chance, thanks Happy hallidays Misha Moncton, NB, Canada
  14. What about GC.com sending out a two year renewal for the cache? The renewal would give the hidder two weeks to log-on and verify the coords or the cache will be archived? This could weed out a lot of those crappy caches that people run out and hide then they lose interest and the rest of us are stuck with them forever. For those really good caches, chances are that the hidder will still be involved and will follow the renewal guidelines. Nah. no point in bothering the hider if it's an active, well-maintained cache. If ANYTHING, maybe something should get kicked off to the local reviewer if there's been no find and no note of any kind after X amount of time, a possibly unmaintained listing. But even then, if it ain't broke, why try to fix it. Renewing caches sounds great, thats perfect. Misha
  15. OK I see I have opened a few cans of worms!!!! How about this.....hmm! If a new cache is never for six months or once an existing cache has not been found for maybe 2 years it is then automatically archived would this be ok? maybe this one would be removed in the winter GCQ2QD
  16. Another thought; premium membership seams to be lacking. Pocket queries are a great feature but it would be a better incentive to not release hints unless the cacher is a premium member. Being a premium member is not expensive, but it is what keeps the ball rolling, they need cash to provide this great service. cachers need more incentive to join up as premium. Misha
  17. The reason I see this as a good thing we need to grow, Not stay the same forever. IMHO maybe we should not be able to adopt caches either BTW I am not interested in any other cachers "spots" I just want more new finds without wasting tonnes of fuel, I have to go a bout 10 miles to locate new caches, and I have friends who have to travel furthur than 80, he has 1431 caches found Misha
  18. It would be great too if Density guidelines were relaxed to 80 meter (0.05 Miles) seperation in urban settings. When the existing 0.1 mile was our sensors were 15 meters on a good day. Comming soon (2006-2007), we will have the Galileo navigation. It will boast 2 meter accuracy on a bad day. Misha
  19. I would like to see automatic expiry on new caches, that would be a switch controled by Cache approval persons. I think that a two year term is great. Misha
  20. Misha

    Pocket Querys

I would like to be able to create a query that finds only covered bridges, or caves. Misha
