I noticed some individuals reference ground zero for a Town and that geocaching.com provides distances from some phantom point in a given town to a cache. Question: How is ground zero found for a town ?

I've only seen Adventure pak Legend at Target for $169. If you saw it for $99 you should scoop it up quick.

I've had my GPS unit for 8 months but I never got around to connecting the unit to the PC. I was just hand entering all the waypoints. I installed EasyGPS just yesterday and used it today for the first time downloading waypoints. I guess its O.K.. It does the basics and that's pretty much all I need. Now I won't bother entering by hand.

I am inquiring as to what is a good Topo software package to load onto a Garmin E-Trex Legend. Are any third party topo programs compatible with the Garmin? I haven't heard good things about Garmin's own topo program. Any thoughts?

I like what' I'm hearing. I am also new to geocaching and I purchased an ETrex Legend about a month ago after doing some research and I'm happy with my purchase. I think I made the right call. Screen is a little small but, hey, for $170 you can't go wrong.
