You need to connect to your PC using the cable that came with the gps. There are several ways to download caches to the GPS. Here is the link to the complete user manual which has step by step directions on how to add caches. http://support.magellangps.com/support/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=374&pcid=24&nav=0,18,24 Hope this helps.

A word of caution. These boxes do. To hold up well in the elements. The springs that trip the lock when the ball gets to the final spot often get rusted or gummed up.

I most often cache alone here and in the hills of Pennsylvania. The wife worried about my safety till I got my CCW. It may seem like a bit of over kill on protection but it has already saved me once when I was caching and being hunted by a pack of coyotes.

The Casio Brigade is a flip phone that is not a smart phone but can use a geocaching app, geocache navigator. So yes you can geocache witha phone that is not a smart phone. I used several apps on that phone for two years and never had an issue.

If you are a premium member you can set it up so that you are emailed when a new cache is posted in your area. Everyone however can go to the forums and scroll down to the list of state, click on theirs and see if any of the new ones listed are near them. Te second method is not as reliable as the notification emails but you can get the occasional FTF this way. Also if you like puzzles youcouldtry those as their FTFs tend to take a bit longer to claim.
