  1. I was wondering if anyone knows of any software that can recover waypoints deleted from a Garmin 60CS. After returning from a trip I accidentally deleted some waypoints (not geocaches) that I really would like to recover. I have gsak, but that doesn't seem to offer any feature like that. Unfortunately I didn't backup my waypoints before deleting them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  2. Thanks to all for your inputs. I decided to rent a car in LV, so I can get away from the strip and find some standard caches to place the TBs in. Thanks again!
  3. I'm a newbie and have not yet taken a TB. I'm planning on visiting Las Vegas and wanted to take a TB from my area. But it seems most of the caches near where I'll be staying are micros. Obviously I can't leave the TB in a micro, so can I just log it into the microcache as I would if I were leaving it in a standard cache? Since I am not physically leaving it there, I assume I would have to then log it out at the same time. I assume then I just take it back home with me and check it into another standard cache in my area(?). I guess I could take a picture of the TB in Las Vegas and post that to prove it was there. Hope my questions are not too confusing, but I'm just unsure how to properly handle TBs and micros. TIA for your advice.
  4. Thanks for all your inputs to help out this newbie!
  5. Can you buy pre-printed waterproof labels or stickers (like a bumper sticker) to put on the outside of the cache to identify it as a geocache container? I suppose I could just use white paint on an ammo can, for example, but I thought professional looking stickers would look better, and possibly prevent the container from being moved if discovered by a non-geocacher.
