  1. If you are ever in the Finger Lakes region of NY then you really need to check out this cache, G.O. Cache (GCND8D). It is a cemetary cache and by far the best cache I have done. I actually think these people have too much time on their hands from the amount of thought and time they put into their caches!
  2. can't wait to watch the action!!! Wish I had a tag so I could send something out for this race!
  3. Does anyone know personally or hear of anyone winning stuff from the last promotion? Just curious.
  4. My favorite is "The Rest Of The Story...." TB (TBJ3YP). Cool idea. I saw it at a Geogathering but couldn't grab it.
  5. I agree, the rules were posted when everyone joined. Tags are done and Fly46 has her plate full already without making changes midstream.
  6. So the guys account is deleted and then my TB he picked up is history because he can't cache or won't because he is pissed off.
  7. It looks like not all the bugs made it. What a shame.
  8. I think that was a good move. And if you hadn't done that, I am sure the owner of the TB would have appreicated an email letting them know of your sighting. Good move.
  9. It sure sounds like Fly has been real busy between work and the race. I am sure her simpler tags will be great!
  10. I would be very cautious using the Fabreeze. It is not supposed to be breathed in and would also worry about the affects of the dogs licking it.
  11. Is there a way to search for the earthcaches?
  12. My daughter had a problem with one of her bugs and Groundspeak corrected the matter within 24 hours. I was quite impressed. When we sent the request to them, I included every thing I thought they might need to know in the email to prevent delays, then they wouldn't have to email for more info. Good luck.
  13. What day are you releasing all the bugs?
  14. We are going to Hawaii in October. Have figured in plenty of time to cache. Quite a few there and they seems to have a lot of TB activity which we find to be a great bonus.
  15. Will the formula and diapers be in the cache along with the TB???
  16. Can you post a picture?
  17. I have friends that released a bug. It went missing from the cache, the page in the cache journal was removed. It was missing for several months. No logs, nothing. Three months later it shows up on the opposite coast. Then another six months goes by and the people who had taken it out of the cache with the missing cache page, log the visit with it back dated. Apparently they were new and didn't know what they were doing. Once they had been in a while and figured it all out, they logged the bug. It was pretty weird. I am sure it is hard to figure out how long to wait until you give up and rerelease.
  18. So how do you adopt a cache. We have a cache in our area that needs maintenance. The owner knows and has temporarily disabled it. He says he doesn't know when he can get to it and hasn't been geocaching in about 8 months. Should we ask him if he would like to have us adopt it. It would take us about 45 minutes to get to it. But could go back. We fixed everything but the container that leaked (we didn't have an extre with us)??? Comments - suggestions - just no flames please.
  19. There is a cacher not far from us that takes her dog. I noticed he has his own account and his 100th find was a couple of miles from my home at the cache The Pipeline Plunder. I thought it was pretty cool.
  20. Have you tried it? Do you think it will hold up well?
