  1. It is getting really bad out there. I travel to a lot of foreign countries and fotologging traditional caches that are missing are all the rage now.
  2. Sorry to see the further dumbing down of the game.
  3. That was my understanding as well. I looked through the knowledge base and found nothing.
  4. You are not interacting with the coin. Shakes head.. how silly..
  5. When did it become acceptable to post coins/travelbugs codes of coins/travelbugs that you own to Facebook pages ? Just seems very lame.
  6. Cool I got 4 out of 5. One odd thing the acquired date is today and not when I first found a cache in the country. Thailand Acquired on 14 Dec 15
  7. It has been known to happen that cachers have a sock puppet account they place caches under. So they have ALL the info they need.
  8. I vote for Russia to. Scientific Moscow We hired a couple young Russian girls (a friend of friend thing) to take us around Moscow for the day. Including a ride on the Moscow Metro during rush hour.
  9. Well darn one of the Baltic countries I haven't been to yet.
  10. Well good news, intrepid geocaching travelers. Beginning November 16, we’ll announce a new country souvenir each week for five weeks. My vote is for Swaziland.
  11. Found it 06 Jun 15 A butiful place I never had visit witout this cache app. I dont find the cache even lokal smugglers help us with a leider so we com up on the floor. But because I go this long way and find the place even lokal from a bit longer north dont know about, I log this a find . Thank you for taking me to this place.
  12. 2015 was a fairly good year for me. I am now up to 60 Groundspeak defined countries. New Groundspeak defined countries for me were Loas, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Portugal and Gibraltar. I also got quite a few new State/Province/1st level Administration Units. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ratchaburi and Nong Khai in Thailand. West-Vlaanderen in Belgium. Andalucía and Extremadura in Spain. Alaska in the US. Misiones in Argentina. Paraná in Brazil. On tap so far for 2016 we will be going to The Philippines and United Arab Emirates.
  13. Do you have a SD card installed if so remove it.
  14. For whatever reason cachers don't think log sheets have a back side.
  15. Fallas do Iguaçu from the Argentina side
  16. Missed country. I’ve been mulling this over since we made our plans to visit Iguazu Falls on the border of Argentina/Brazil. Do I want to make a short trip to Ciudad del Este in Paraguay to get http://coord.info/GC4ZPAD I have already paid the reciprocity fees for Argentina and Brazil. Paraguay would require another $320US (for 2 people) to cross the border. From what I’ve heard Ciudad del Este is like the wild west it is where Brazilians go to get cheap items. It is allegedly a very ugly and dangerous city. So instead of spending a half day getting a new country I’ll be doing some extra hiking around the falls.
  17. On my Nuvi 2598LMT I have uploaded up to 60,000 caches with full cache listing using Garmin POI through GSAK.
  18. Are you doing it via GPX file or POI file ? I have only had experience using POIs. Not all Nuvis display caches in the same manner. Some Nuvis will not show caches at all.
  19. I never know exactly where I will be going when I travel I just translate with my phone into English.
  20. The Montana limit for waypoints is 4000, but the geocache limit is 12000. And with Garmin POIs it is unlimited. (At least I haven't hit the upper limit yet)
  21. I use mine Garmin 62s loaded with POIs 99% of the time. I only use my Nexus 5 when I need to look up a spoiler picture or recent logs. When I'm traveling around the world I tend to use my Nexus 5 more as I can easily translate pages to English.
  22. Shortest time I spent in a new country is 20 minutes. Driving in the south of France I made a brief stop in Monaco to grab a cache.
