If you log a DNF , then return to the cache another day and still can't find it , should you log this second failed attempt or maybe edit your original log ? This happened to me and I logged a DNF twice - was I right to do so ?

Hi I've had a fair look around the forum and geocaching site trying to find the answer to a couple of questions but haven't had much luck so far . Is it ok to hide a cache above head height , where someone about 5 ft 8' might have to reach up to grab it ? This may make it very hard / impossible for a shorter person . Could this somehow be reflected in the difficulty/terrain rating ..... that leads me to my next question ..... is there a guideline somewhere for terrain / difficulty ratings ? Hi from another newbie . Splashed out a small fortune on an etrex h , premium membership and the app for my ipod touch so I could dive into my newly discovered hobby . Well it's got me and my wife out walking together anyway , which makes a change from just sitting on the computer or xbox360 getting no excercise whatsoever ! I'm surprised how much I've enjoyed today , and feel well pleased to have my first 3 caches under my belt . Good luck with your geocaching too mate , and I'm sure you'll have fun . The Crowman
